The food wasn't all that! I mean, if they would have cooked my salmon. They didn't ask if I wanted it raw! I didn't! So I didn't eat! But the music and services was on point! My daughter enjoyed her food but wanted a little bit more. Price wasn't too bad.
Service was amazing, the atmosphere was just right for a nice Friday night out with the family. No children’s menu, but we just ordered a pasta to be split in half. The Tagliatelle Bolognese was delicious and so we’re the desserts! The only complaint is that the steak was too peppery.
We had such an incredible visit. The Sunday special (3 courses with a glass of wine for $30) was fantastic. Our server Sean was so knowledgeable and attentive, making sure each course came out as we wanted! A truly great experience. Can’t wait to come back.
I'm GF and this was a great place to eat. Had the Calabrian chili chicken appetizer and it was excellent. Had Cacio e Pepe for the main course and my date had the steak. Both were cooked to perfection. GF options abound. Service was excellent and responsive. It's an open dining room so a bit noisy, but nothing too distracting. If they had GF bread options, I would make this a regular stop.
The first 5 stars I've ever given a restaurant on google during my time living in Boston! Absolutely amazing! I ordered the pasta alla norma and the cannoli trio for takeout. Fresh ingredients make all the difference with all the right flavors! Great for vegetarians - they list all the ingredients of each dish online so it's easy to tell which dishes do not contain meat (I'd certainly double check with the sauces, however). Overall, great neighborhood Italian restaurant. Order a dish, pair with wine, and enjoy!
Had a girls night in with take out from Tavolo and it was fantastic! The food was delicious and we especially loved the deserts. Rosemary bread is a must!
Love the food, staff is great and close to our house. Great place to eat in Dorchester!
Food, atmosphere, wine and service are top notch. The value for your dollar is stellar!
It was okay. The shrimp scampi, which only came with 5 shrimps, had so much grease it felt like attempted murder. I put some in a cup to add it to a new pot of pasta. The pasta was also over cooked it disintegrated very easily with a squeeze of my fingers. The old school pizza was pretty good. Idk if I would order from them again. Definitely not worth the price I paid.
Everything is 3.5-4.5 stars. Staff and drinks are closer to 4+. Canollis are fresh filled and crunchy as they should be. Great dinner or meet up spot, vibe and staff are super chill. Solid delicious spot in Dot.
