Very tasty Korean restaurant. We went there on a Friday night and it was super crowded. There was a long line outside the door and we couldn’t find parking. We ended up getting take out and we needed to wait for 40 minutes. BUT it was very worth it!!!! The soup was surprisingly good! We ordered the non spicy version but I’m so sure the spicy ones can taste even better! Seafood pancake is a must try too. So glad to find a great Korean place like this!
There’s nothing like walking by a place to get the vibe of it. Kaju reeks of truth. A glimpse through the window shows a cart loaded with bubbling stone pots arriving at a table already loaded with banchan and Korean pancakes, busy even before the evening peak.
This place is GREAT. Unprepossessing, humble, diversely but strictly Korean, with a very high quality-per-dollar ratio. It’s been voted Best in Boston more than once. Go !
Always a good experience at Kaju (formerly called Kaju Tofu House)! They hvae a wide variety of Korean apps, soups, noodle and rice dishes, and a BBQ choices. Their soups are a must--absolutely wonderful! Limited seating and parking can be tough in the area, but it is worth it for this excellent spot a bit off the beaten path in Allston's Koreantown.
