Stay for the homemade Carrot Cake. Find a reason to go Boyertown and when you are there go to Talarico’s Sandwich shop. Soft Rolls, according to Kyle 4th generation proprietor, it is an Amish thing. I will be researching that next week at Farmers market. Anyway I am a soft roll fan because they are soft and hold up under a lot of sauce. I got my cheesesteak with the Talarico made special sauce, a red sauce, very flavorful. Carole got the pepper ham sandwich. It was amazing and Kyle discloses the origin of the Pepper Ham sandwich in my video my YouTube channel, Philadelphia Cheesesteak adventure. Videos for all 270 cheesesteaks that I’ve eaten are there. Homemade carrot cake was amazing. PS $23, 2 (amazing) sandwiches, 2 (small) bags of chips, 1 24oz (Kutztown) soda and big piece of carrot cake.
Hands down THE BEST sandwich you're going to find! Everything is super fresh and the portions are massive!
Talarico's is a great sandwich shop. Their cheese steaks are amazing. On Fridays they serve tuna salad, my wife says it is the best, better than her own. They take a lot of pride in their product, and you can taste it in every bite. Sandwiches are filled past the brim. Thanks for all your hard work!
I've been going here for over 10 years. They have the best chicken cheesesteaks at a good price. Their other sandwiches are also quite good. They offer a lot for high school students on lunch and are very friendly people.
Unbelievable cheesesteak. Monstrous, full of steak meat, mmmm. The roll was fresh and the don’t skimp on the toppings. Loved my steak with mushrooms, raw onions and provolone cheese. Friendly and kind staff. Stop in when your in town. Exceptional food.
At the risk of sounding a bit dramatic, I am heartbroken to hear that this Boyertown establishment has closed. My mom grew up in the area and is a BAHS grad. I’ve visited frequently in all of my 45 years on this earth. Talarico’s was always number 1 on my list of places I HAD TO visit when in town from Cleveland. I wish I’d known this was coming. I say this with 100% seriousness, I would’ve dropped everything to be there to enjoy my large Italian Ham with sweet peppers one last time. A small part of me has died with this news. Thank you for your dedicated 60 years to the Boyertown community. You will surely be missed.
Best sandwhiches around great staff family run business. This is now run by third and fourth generation of the family and quite honestly nothing has changed they sandwiches are very full of meat no matter what sandwich you get. Great friendly staff and a Boyertown Icon
