Staff was really nice. Our waitress was on top of things and was very patient while we decided what we wanted.
We had the calamari with peppers buffalo chicken pizza and a pasta and chicken dish. Food was really good.
Delicious and attentive. Went last night around 630 and we were seated in less than a half hour for a party of four. We stood at bar area and a waitress got us started with drinks so that made the wait go by fast.
We all got the red sangria and the fall sangria. Both equally delicious and served in mason jars (very cute). For appetizer we had the buff chick dip. It was honestly one of the best I’ve had. Very creamy and the chips were firm enough so they didn’t break when scooped it.
I ordered the chicken and waffles. To die for. A must try if you are into that. The other ladies in my party had the fish and chips, chick brocc Alfredo and buff Mac n cheese. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. No leftovers �

Buffalo wontons are a must at this phase. I’ve been getting them for years, starting at the original location in Quincy. Friendly service and a good sized menu available. Prices are very reasonable for the portions.
The chicken dominico was amazing and the portion was huge. I took half of it home and had it for lunch the next day and it was just as good! Highly recommend.
It was my first time going there yesterday, and I loved the place.
The food is very good, made very quickly and came perfect to our table.
The drinks were very good too.
The person who helped us was very nice!
And for what’s worth, it’s not an expensive place to grab a bite 🙂

Really enjoyed it. Got us out of traffic for a while. Busy, but we were seated right away. Diverse crowd. Bar and restaurant. Had Buffalo chicken egg rolls and steak tips. Both perfectly prepared. The Buffalo chicken egg rolls were so nice and crispy with homemade blue cheese. Yummy

Over the years I have driven by this place and not really thought about going in, but now under COVID restrictions and thanks to outside seating you can now truly see how busy a place is... In the past year under COVID the Tavern has always been busy when I drive by during ALL hours of the day most of the week and if their outside area is crowded that usually means their inside area is crowed and there is a reason for that... The reason... A GREAT menu! GREAT food! GREAT portions! Also a lot of TVs inside so you won’t miss whatever sport you wish to watch!
