Went here for lunch with mom the food was very good. We were seated right away and our waitress was so kind. Took alot of food home since the portions are huge. Everything came out hot and the fries had a nice crisp.
This spot is a major diner landmark in Bridgeport & I go here every now/then to either grab some food whether it’s for breakfast/dinner. For the 1st time in a long time I decided to grab a breakfast wrap with some hash which I haven’t had in quite a few years & I wasn’t disappointed with what I got because it all was definitely done in a timely manner when I called my order in ahead of time.
Been going here on/off since I was a kid & the food never disappoints me at all.
Based on the setup nowadays you can either dine inside, call your order ahead of time if your on the go or even do curbside pickup. There’s multiple options now.
Moist & Tender Grilled Chicken Breast, Boiled Potatoes & Pickled Beets with a side Salad & Rolls.
Just like I remember when I would go to the diner with my youngest daughter.
It brought back found memories, we went to the diner often before she moved out.
I miss her and our diner outings and trying different cafés. She's my Sweetest Child, a true gem. My life saver! 😢
Everyone is very nice, but I feel like the waiters are always on top of you. I appreciate the help and asking to pour me coffee, but it's only half way there.
I was in a important meeting and a single lady kept interrupting my speech.Like I said, no one was rude— but it was inconvenient.
The food was Amazing! Exactly the way I wanted. Everything came in on time!

Did takeout today for the corned beef. Very good and lean. My husband had the dinner and I had the sandwich. Was ready when he got there and was happy. 1st time going to this diner since Covid. Very happy was the end result!
So my first time in this area. I happen to see this dinner that look small and cozy. So I stepped in. The seating was great and had booths.I looked at the menu ....and I was amazed at the length of the menu . I chose the full ribs and coleslaw and Mac it was delicious they also had a great amount of seafood too the French Onion soup was very tasty and Harty I would definitely recommend this place 😋👌
Great food & staff, always a great visit. Been going here since I was a kid, moved outta town, still my first choice diner. Not a big fan of coleslaw but theres is amazing.
