First of all, I'm not a big fan of restaurant pizza. I seldom order pizza when I eat out. If I do, it's usually flat bread style. This was a family group gathering and the consensus was to order pizza. I have eaten in public restaurants all over the world over the last 50 years and I must say that it was the best pizza I've ever eaten. Not even close. The group ordered various combinations and they were baked perfectly. My preference is thin and crispy crust and that's what they served. I also had a side salad that was very good. House dressing. The beer was cold and the service was superior. Nuff said. I'll be back.
We had a dinner last night with our two toddlers. We were seated right away but our server didn't come for a while. People who were seated after us started to order. Then, I asked someone to take at least the order for our kids, as they were getting antsy. They brought their food right away. Not only that, they didn't charge us for their meal. The manger was checking with us to see if everything was aright. The food was amazing. The service was great. This place is on our way to our family. (We live in NY) This place will be our go to place every time we stop by.
First time I was here and first time trying a coal fired pizza. First, I have to say that I love margherita pizza ever since I tried it in Dewey Beach DE years ago. Was directed to this "coal fired pizza place" by a friend and was super happy to see that the Mia Margherita was their specialty. It was very good. Great flavors with the sauce, cheese and basil. Olive oil was generous on the pizza and added a really good extra flavor. The coal fired oven provided an excellent crisp crust which was perfect for a pizza. I wish I lived closer so I could come back more often!
The staff is so incredibly nice! The food is so good! I was really surprised at how good the coal fire pizza was and the wings! Absolutely amazing! I love all the fresh ingredients that they use to make good quality foods! By far one of the best pizza places ever!
There were 3 of us working in the area and had dinner here... So many amazing things to try!!! Our favorite, risotto balls, truffle fries and the parmesan sauce! My gluten free pizza was really good, the one w the figs and friend got the regular pizza and she loved it too but..the risotto balls won the gold star!!!
Great coal oven pizza, very authentic Italian. We grabbed it to go on a Friday night and it was totally jammed. They have a support door for take out and it was fantastic service. If I am heading back to Florida will definitely grab some more pizza to go in West Virginia.
First time eating here. Food was good and the staff friendly.
I had the Gorganzola Alfredo and it was so delicious! I took a friend to celebrate her retirement and they even gave her a complimentary cupcake to celebrate with her.
Ok so I knew after taking one bite I was going to review this, I simply had to. I travel sometimes for work and I have a love for finding the "non chain" pizza places. This one came up was close and coal fire? I work in coal mines I simply was compelled. But man why don't you pack up and move closer to home, I got the Americana and I gotta say pizza will never be the same elsewhere. From the crust to the extra artisan pepperoni and that nice parm finish, everything is fresh and it's obvious. This is without question the best pizza I've ever had. I would make the 1.5 hour trip just to have it again. Also the selection of beverages is amazing if you like variety. It's worth a stop regardless.
