We had the veal parmigiana, pepperoni pizza, ravioli, and the sausage platter. We didnt smell anything odd walking in, just good homestyle Italian. Service was attentive and curteous. Food was good, sauce was great.
I love Twin Oaks. I have been eating at Twin Oaks for probably 40 years that I can remember, since I was a teenager dating. I usually always get a pizza or steak hoagie with two cheeses a long with a side salad, house dressing. They are delicious. Yes the restaurant is a little dated but that doesn't take away from the great tasting food. I do believe they are remodeling a little changed the old carpet to hardwood floors in the one dining area.
Great hometown Italian.. I have been eating at this establishment all my life. The decor is dated, and the prices are a little high. But..
The pizza is the best around. The Best! Try a steak hoagie with mozzarella, onions, tomato, and hot peppers. Grandma Ielapi's Lasagna is tasty and filling also.
The Best "Round" pizza in WV. This is by far the best "round" pizza in West Virginia and possibly within any surrounding state. Everything from the dough up tastes like it was made from scratch and the fresh ground homemade sausage completes it all with a side of fresh cut fries and two steak hoagies to go. Try the sweet peppers on the pie for a very unique taste. I dont mind the 40 minute drive south just for a pizza since Morgantown is the bad pizza capitol of the world. While Twin Oaks is a full service restaurant they are known for their pizza and it's easy to see why
By the way the best square pizza belongs to both the Elm Grove Dicarlos in Wheeling and Osso's Pizza in Washington Pa.
Wow!! My family and I have been coming here for years, every time we visit Clarksburg. Beautifully remodeled establishment. And such wonderful service. They work as a team and it shows in the service! Emily Miller did a wonderful job keeping our drinks filled and bringing our food out fresh!
Our salad was amazing. The fresh crispy lettuce complimented with perfectly ripe seasoned tomatoes went so well with the almost drinkable house dressing. (Yes the dressing is that good!) I just wish the large was never ending. Our steak hoagie was a delectable bit of heaven with every bite. The steak was cooked perfectly. Just the right amount of mixed peppers combined with the cheese and a slice of tomato that gave each bite a compliment! 😋
Overall, we once again throughly enjoyed our dining experience! We will be back on our way through again! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Twin Oaks Restaurant!!!
The food is always good. I've never been let down or disappointed here. We love the salads with cheese and their meatball recipe is the best I've ever tasted anywhere. I also recommend the ravioli.
