Discovered this place a few years back when I couldn't stand sushi, but one visit to this place changed everything! This place is not known for their service, but for mind blowing sushi! I've tried 99% of their menu selection and loved everything I got. Memories is my favorite hole-on-the-wall sushi place, hands down!
In my opinion this place is better than Fuji's, in the raw, sushi train, sushi house, asahi...and I can go on.
My wife and I tried it based on word of mouth from some co-workers. It's only a mile from my business. I don't usually like sushi but this is good, especially if my kids order it, delicious. The Spicy Dragon roll with Cream cheese is the bomb!! I highly recommend this place. My family will be regulars from now on.
Very nice staff. I came during lunch my food was good. I had the lion king roll and it was mind blowing good 10/10 I definitely recommend it. We also had a Florida roll it was pretty good but I think maybe I just wasn't a fan of the pineapple as much as I was hoping I'd be. The miso soup is by far the best I've received at any sushi joint and I have been to a few. It's a smaller restaurant but it still is decorated well and has a very cozy feel.
I LOVE this place. If you’re not a fan of sushi (like myself) the Box E is a good choice. And you HAVE to try the Dynamite Roll, it’s deep fried, so no raw fish. Very laid back and relaxing environment, and the staff is always very polite, professional and attentive.
Great prices, delicious food, good variety to choose from, and the wait staff is amazing. I definitely recommend checking this place out!
The best and most fresh sushi in the Tulsa metro area. My friends and family have been going here exclusively for sushi since 2009. Quality has not changed. It’s so good!
Really great food! The portions were large, service was great and very reasonable prices. We really enjoyed our lunch and will be back to try more
This Family-owned restaurant is consistently the Best out of Tulsa or Broken Arrow. Definitely recommend for the best sushi. My favorite is any tempura seafood roll or root veggie deep fried and topped with masago and japanese mayo, with a side of wasabi and soy sauce lol! Best service, best food, five stars!
New place for me. I will definitely go again. It is a small location in a shopping center. It has a clean facility. The food is very reasonably priced. The food is made well and tastes good. I think I just had an expectation that because it was named Memories of Japan...it would have a more traditional Japanese style to the food and decor.
