I highly recommend them for all your health food needs. I moved to NJ, but anytime I am in the Bronx I make it my business to stop by and get a cashew pep, veggie patties and banana cake to take home. Give them a try you won't regret it. They are a generational family business!!

Who got the now? Green Garden Health Food does. When I'm in the area I get the vegetable juice it's a mix of carrots, celery, beets, ginger, kale and apple. They also sell healthy items in the back. The items include teas, herbs, oils, supplements, food; even refrigerated items cheeses, drinks and ice cream. And its 1 block from the Gun Hill Station.
I love this place. For a first time customer you may feel a little overwhelmed with all the options. That said, I will be returning.

I absolutely love the fact that there are health food stores like this in the Bronx. Those herbal drinks keeping me going through the day and their tea options are excellent. Glad they sell real seamoss and not the fake stuff. It can get busy but they still do their best to get to you when they can. I highly recommend going here if you need to get products needed for proper body maintenance.
