Uncle Julio's

Busy place. Our server seemed stretched very thin, but did a good job. Guacamole and salsa were both good. The cheese and onion enchiladas were good as well. Suggest making reservations so you don't have to wait long.

This review is based on a "To go order." Ordering was easy online, all things were described very well, no problems ordering. It was crazy busy at the location on a Saturday night, glad we did an order to go. Paid in the restaurant, the younger lady at the hostess stand had to get a manager for me to pay, no big deal, but you could tell the hostess was over whelmed with everything going on. Phone ringing, to go orders, lots of people waiting for tables just hanging around the main entrance, I'd feel the same way. Food was ready on time. Food was all prepared properly and HOT. The food definitely tasted fresh, which was a selling point. The nacho appetizer for 4 is HUGE and fed us for 2 days. The to go containers were so nice and loved that we could use them to reheat in the microwave, these aren't your typical cheap to go containers! The portions that you get was good, I would have liked a little more meat for the nachos, but will know to order extra next time. For all that you get, it's an excellent value. Loved the homemade chips too, so delicious. The two kid meals were nice portion sizes too. It was kind of sloppy put inside the container, but that's okay. Food was hot and tasted good. The tortillas were nice and warm and tasted good as well. The only complaint I'd say was the kids meal chicken fajitas didn't have any veggies with them. It was just the chicken, rice beans and the soft tortillas, I would have expected some veggies like a traditional fajita meal. Was able to make 2 small fajitas, with the amount of chicken they had in the portion. The portion sizes again were great for a kids meal, almost could feed an adult. You definitely get your money's worth. For a take out order, it was all done very well and tasted good. Will definitely have to try eating in sometime, but for now, the to go meals were excellent!

News alert!!! I went to Uncle Julio’s today and had a classic taco salad. It was everything and more. First, it was huge. Second - I had the ranch jalapeño dressing and the vinaigrette dressing on the side. Third - it was the best taco salad on this side of heaven. It was delicious and delectable at the same time. The taco shell was flaky and wonderful. Faith was our waitress, and she was bomb. Uncle Julio’s is my happy place!!

This was my first visit here and I was pleasantly surprised. It's a very attractive property with a nice bar area and dining room. The staff was very friendly. Our margarita and chips & salsa were great. I'm not going to claim the food is even remotely authentic... It's very much "Americanized" Mexican food but it was all good nonetheless. We'll definitely be back b
