Joanne was a wonderful barista. A great conversationalist. My caramel latte was amazing. I will definitley go back because of her. It would be nice if the atmosphere was more cozy and inviting.
We stop here every year to bring back their coffee to AZ. I always get the Raspberry Mocha and then a few others that I haven't tried. The workers are always super friendly.
Awesome little coffee shop hidden inside the BP gas station. Great coffee, bakery, and sandwiches!
Went to get gas today and stumbled upon it! The Barista there was super sweet. They make excellent food, and their Hot Chai was easily the best I've ever had! I'll be coming here more often!
Went in there today and was greeted by the nicest lady, I forgot my wallet because I was driving a company truck and asked if they accepted Apple Pay, they didn’t have the technology yet, but the wonderful lady behind the counter said, “I’ve been there, coffee on us!” She sure did make my day, whenever I’m in the brookfield area, I will give my business to this shop! Love smaller coffee shops with real coffee.
Best little coffee shop in the area, great coffee, awesome pastries (I am partial to the scones, but the muffins are great too), and the BEST people working here!! I will drive past 5 Starbucks to find a gem like this.
Cute little coffee stand/seating area. It’s in a gas station, but they’ve carved out a cozy nook with some comfortable seating, delicious coffee, wifi, all the good stuff you would need.
But the ownership is what I loved the most. I dropped in to grab a latte and get a little work done. While I was there, the owner told me the story of a young man who was having a rough day.
An inner-city kid, he was starting his first day at a temp agency in the burbs, but ran out of gas on the way. He apparently walked a long way (in single digit temperatures) to this gas station at 6:30am. He tried calling person after person that he knew, but none of them was able or willing to pick up a gas can and give him a ride back to his car. 3 hours later, a friend finally showed up to help him out, and he was on his way. But he was already extremely late to his brand new job, which has a strict policy on tardiness.
The owner of Sisters’ Brew did everything she could to help, short of shutting down her shop to give him a ride herself. Seeing he was cold and hungry, she gave him a coffee and muffin on the house. Knowing he was going to be in trouble at his new job, she called the temp agency to tell them the story and personally vouch for him. And sensing he was a good kid trying to do the right thing and head in the right direction, she showered him with words of encouragement.
Good coffee, low prices, and an owner who is totally worthy of your business. Can’t ask for much more than that.
Don't let the gas station setting fool you: good coffee, friendly lady, and nice place to sit!
