Love this place it’s so cute. Sitting down in this place it felt like I time traveled back in time. I can’t believe I just found out about it. Chicken fingers were so good. Chicken sandwich was great. Corn fritters with a side of hot sauce is definitely a must. Service was fast and foood was great and affordable. Great for families or just a cute little date. Highly recommend!!!!!!!
By far one of the best sandwiches in Brooklyn. Worth the hype… can’t say I tried the Gargiulo burger, that seemed like overkill, but the broth is to die for!
Finally made it, didn’t realize I was down the block from @brennanandcarr , roast beef and gravy was delish , roast beef nice and medium rare and hot gravy , perfect combo with some fries …
Went to compare their roast beef with Rolln Roaster and ordered to go. Got home and they put a burger in the bag instead. May have been the wrong item but was still tasty.

Horrifying vegetarians for generations, this place has the beef. Well-loved, dark wood interior is a cross between your corner diner and a Bavarian beer hall. Yes, they serve beer.
First-timers will want the house special Roast Beef Sandwich, "double dipped" in their au jus if you don't mind the "moist" bun. Cheese is optional (but really it's not unless you have a lactose problem). If you really love au jus, you can order it "KFJ," so soaked with au jus that it's a "Knife & Fork Job."
This time, I tried the Gargiulo, a cooked-to-order burger topped with their specialty roast beef & cheese, plus sautéed onions. This will now be my standard order.
The crispy chicken sandwich is also good if you need a non-beef alternative. I also enjoyed the onion rings, but I think I'll go for the cheese fries next time. Solid, homey and satisfying.
Brennan and Carr and Roll N Roast are two great roast beef Brooklyn institutions. Both are great and both worth a visit. Personally, I prefer roll n roast but I would gladly eat both. Actually, I have done both in an afternoon for lunch. Then dinner at Richard Yee's.

The chicken wings were fried to perfection. The roast beef sandwich was moist and flavorful. Onion rings - perfect crisp. The blueberry pie a la mode homemade and fresh. Solid, home cooked, dependable, delicious food. You should 100% stop in. It’s an experience - like you traveled back in time. A unique and charming spot. A time capsule. One of my new, favorite, go to spots. TAKE CASH or get cash out of the ATM at TD BANK across the street.
I’ve been meaning to come here for years and I am SO glad I did.
Had lunch here on a Sunday with my girlfriend - we both had roast beef with cheese and shared onion rings and cheese fries. The sandwich had easily the most delicious and tender roast beef I’ve ever had and the cheese added the perfect amount of saltiness to it all. Definitely get beef broth in a cup to dip. The sides were simple and tasty in the exact kind of way you want them to be and perfectly complimented the sandwiches. Make sure to get a cold bud to wash it all down.
Special shout out to the AMAZING staff there who made the whole experience as good as it was. Everyone was so polite, friendly, professional and helpful.

Top of the line place.. Great food , place is clean and the people are very nice.
I wish they can do a little better on there price and accept credit card. But i will still go back.
