Great Peruvian fusion place! The flavors are very Peruvian but the presentations of the dishes are very artsy and edgy. Service was good and they have a great little patio area.

Enjoyed our meal here. The ceviche was excellent as were the anticuchos. We had several of the small plates/tapas and it worked well. Did have to wait 15 minutes despite reservation but it was a holiday weekend. Service was a bit rushed but still good. Server was pleasant.

Went here for dinner with the parents and overall I enjoyed the experienced except for a few things which I will explain. First of all, please take the TVs out. I don't understand why you have FoodNetwork playing while I'm having my meal. The ambiance would be much better without the TVs, which I feel takes away from the overall experience. I'd rather have Peruvian music playing such as Inkuyo or el Zambo Cavero which serve as a reflection of the Peruvian culture. The place is very small and may feel a bit cramped at first but once you've sat down and gotten comfy you're good. The food was very good overall. The Ceviche was done very well, probably the best I've had outside of home. The Jaela was cooked well although I would have liked to have seen more fish and not as much calamari. You can get fried calamari at any Italian joint so I'd like to see the Jalea differentiate itself a bit more. The anticho was also good although a bit overdone. The Lomo Saltado was great and my favorite dish by far that night. My only gripe is that it came out warm rather than hot. The one plate I would not recommend would be the Salmon anticho which came out rather cold and really was unappetizing. My parents were a bit more critical but thats to be expected since they came direct from the motherland years ago. The service was very good and the whole staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall I'd give this place a solid 4 out of 5. Give it a shot! Peruvian cuisine is truly like no other!

Go Here! This place was awesome. The outdoor area in the back was quaint, while the food was incredible. The "tapas" portions were large. We ordered what we thought would be two small tapas plates and an entree portion of the Shrimp Risotto. We ended up taking quite a bit of food home. Delicious addition to the Slope. SHRIMP RISOTTO!!!! SOOOO Good.

Tasty modern Peruvian tapas. The ceviches were delicious, with tiny crispy fried fish on top, but the sauces and garnishes were a bit too similar for a sampler. As usual with tapas, a little expensive for the amount of food, but the variety is great and the cooking was top notch.

This restaurant makes really good ceviche. Also, it's a good option for brunch as well. They have pretty authentic Peruvian dishes like beef hearts (anticuchos) and lomo saltado. The owner/chef competed on Chopped and Knife Fight so they play the episodes on the tvs in the restaurant which is very cool.

The ceviche and steak we sampled here were great, and even the house wine was quite drinkable. Would definitely recommend. Butttttt....I had brought my boyfriend here for his birthday, and I don't know that I would pass on the recommendation as a romantic evening option. The seating inside is quite tight (sadly it was raining, so we couldn't take advantage of the back yard), and so it always felt like out table was about to be knocked over by someone in the aisle. I'm pretty sure I accidentally hit a fellow diner on the shoulder with my handbag on the way out as well (sorry guy!) That's seriously how close the seating is to the door and aisle. Go for the food if you enjoy ceviche though, and you will not be disappointed. Cute neighborhood spot for a bite for sure.

Found this place by accident decided to give it a try. The food was amazing. Everything we ordered was really good. When ever we go to places that we haven't been we usually try a lot of the menu items and this was no different. The place is small and cozy but they do have outside seating which will be great for the summer.

I enjoyed the food they serve. They capture the essence of the Peruvian food. The staff is friendly and the portions are big enough for one person. Their picarones are great!

Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior of this restaurant. The food is delicious with a whole variety of flavours not found in other cuisine. Fantasticly presented and cooked to perfection, I could not fault this visit if I tried. I would most heartily recommend their chocolate soufflé for dessert!
