Cute seafood spot in Crown Heights. Food was good & it was nice trying Alaskan Crabs for the first time. That said, it was very expensive.
The lobster roll was good & the staff was really friendly. This is more of a hang out spot than anything else. I would recommend if you love seafood.
I usually have to travel to Boston to get fresh delicious seafood, but this place is 1beyond expectations. THE Clobster is a must try. Plus the spicy garlic butter for dip! They have a variety of butters to choose from. (YES CURRY BUTTER TOO)
Great shrimp, crabs, and fish. Excellent corn bread. The drinks are a nice touch lending to an island vibe. The chowder was awesome, too. I like all different types of music. That being said, I understand that we were in Brooklyn, but playing rap music the whole time we were there was not cool. I am a native New Yorker, and so were my guests. We are from different age groups. It would have been nice to hear a variety of music instead of what the cashier and / or kitchen staff prefer. Other than that, the food was great and the place was very clean.
It was good their cook hook me up with the best sandwhich on the menu. The owner is mad blunt and relax from music and self control.
So flavorful and super delicious! I got the crab & corn chowder and the crab BLT and both were so fresh, so tasty and exactly what I wanted. The chowder was amazing and has great chunks of crab in it and was creamy but not too rich; it has great pepper and seasoning flavors. The crab BLT was just insanely good - totally craveable.
Great service and food. And the drinks were awesome.
The seafood is pretty decent. The fried whiting comes with two slices of bread and some garden greens. I requested tartar sauce but that didn’t make the trip. Could be the fact that the delivery guy dropped the order before handing it off in a torn paper bag. The crab blt was excellent! Eat everything fresh when you get it. Any reheating will not generate the same experience from the original time you got your food. The fish was good and the crab tastes fresh. I would try it again.
My oh my! My boyfriend & I found this spot after leaving one of his friends art show. We were curious to try the crab BLT & it was very delicious w/ the tots. Definitely worth it.
The music was popping! I couldn’t stop dancing.
The drink was very good 👍🏼& the BANANA pudding? I would recommend it after a good meal. It was sweet & delicious 🤤🍌
Lastly, the lady that attended us was very welcoming & kind.
We will be coming back again soon!
This place is black-owned which is great, and my food was decent. I ordered a Clobster roll (½ crab + ½ lobster), tater tots and peach cobbler (not pictured). I've ordered here before and loved the crab rolls with great seafood portions. However, this time the crab portion was too salty for my taste. It seems the lobster was fine, but the crab half was high in sodium. The tots were crispy, but could have done without them. Lastly, the cobbler was sadly a disappointment. I honestly make a better peach dump cake. All in all, I gave them a 4 out 5 towards room for error. Staff were friendly and the outdoor seating area is lovely. Please monitor your salt. Thanks! 😉
Love this place on Franklin Avenue! Had crab tacos: warm shredded crab in a soft taco. Serious YUM. Ice cold margarita to wash it down. And the music! Classic R&B always has my heart. Casual place, casual vibe, and the food is killer. Go there now.
