The all the foods were awesome! Starter which was french onion soup was goooood.. with perfect starter bread comes with two kinds of butters. Main dishes for scallops(it was a Catch of the Day-mp)with the perfect their special sauce ... and Cassoulet(sausages, duck, pork belly, and beans)..... was amazing. All melted in our mouths. Also, can not stop ordering about dessert which was waffles down and ice creams, sorbet.. even whipped cream on the top was sooooooo nice. Last,,, super friendly and nice.. I mean all the staffs! We were so touched since we joined into this area for neighbors. We want to give them stars not just five.. fifteen stars to here if I can. Will be back definitely*

Had an amazing french meal here! It teletransported me back to France! Service by the french owner and you can admire the chef in the kitchen cooking for you!

Beautiful bistro cuisine, charming room, relaxed atmosphere, warm service. Wish this were my local spot. A short trip from Manhattan and front door is 30 feet from F-train (Carroll Gardens station/President’s St exit).

The duck was delicious, the steak was good. Limited choice of appetizers and we didn't like the souffle.

Such a wonderful experience and the food was spectacular. The sauces reach a level of complexity seldom found in the USA.

I hope this place thrives because it deserves to. We stopped in for a casual brunch after rock climbing nearby in gowanus. The croque madame we both ordered was exceptional. Great eggs, crispy bread, delicious ham and cheese. All with a side of duck fat potatoes - I could have ate a few pounds of those alone. We are looking forward to coming back to try dinner. The menu looks awesome.

Lovely chef-run neighborhood restaurant with excellent food and unparalleled service. The brunch food was a refreshing change from boring breakfast fare. Chef Dumonet's salmon was hands down the best salmon fillets I've had, and the skirt steak served rare was tender and flavorful. The waitress and the chef's wife really took care of us, making sure we were comfortable and telling us all about the food, the restaurant, and the chef. I can't wait to go back to see what the Dumonets can do with dinner.

Amazing French fare! Truly authentic, very personal and friendly with owner on site to greet and chat and pamper! Server was knowledgeable and attentive. Wine selection very impressive! A must go to for something French, something delicious and something to talk about! Did I mention the best cassoulet EVER.....

One of the owners, Karen, is absolutely warm & welcoming. She greeted us and immediately made us feel relaxed (no small feat after the stressful week I have had). In fact, every member of staff that we interacted with last night was absolutely charming- from the hostess to the bartender, and servers. You can just feel the pride, love, and passion bleed from every facet of this restaurant. It is especially present in the care and attention taken with the food. We split: Dinner rolls with two lovely french butters - one sweet & one salty; a half dozen raw oysters and a peekytoe crab cake for appetizers (this is not your typically crab cake- this had no fillers, just delicious crab); next we split the Dry Aged USDA Prime Cote de Boeuf (a steak for at least two), creamed spinach, and these lovely potatoes (potatoes landaise) with two steak sauces. In particular, the Bordelaise (wine reduction sauce) absolutely sings. For dessert we shared a Mille Feuille & Warm Apple Flognarde with a dark roast coffee in a french press. The desserts are a perfect cap to the evening as they are perfectly balance and not overly sweet. Oh, and of course, I had a whiskey sour (best I've had in Carroll Gardens- no bottle sour mix here) & the most lovely glass of Pinot Noir. This is definitely a next level dinner experience. The only downside, for me at least, is that the prices are quite high (at least for this almost thirty year old saddled with student loans, so take it with a grain of salt). However, it was worth ever dollar. We will definitely be keeping this place in mind as a perfect special occasion restaurant.

Hospitality Galore! The owners of this new French restaurant are very warm and friendly. As we sat there for brunch, every table seemed to know them even though they've only been open for a couple of months. Karen, who runs the front of the house, was very sweet. She said they've been doing lots of repeat business since they opened. Chef Jean-Louis made us a very nice brunch. We especially liked the tarte flambee with smoked salmon and apple flaugnarde. We're looking forward to trying dinner.
