I enjoyed my dining experience here --- once for a random snack and once for brunch. The veggie burger is delicious. I enjoy the mushroom-based burger; I added the maple cheddar but unnecessary. I also need to highlight the delicious fries that comes as an extra side for the burger --- crispy, well-seasoned. The restaurant offers great selections of craft beer (reasonably priced too, $6 for 60-minute Dog Fish).

I just ate the best veggie burger I've had in over a decade here this afternoon. The texture was perfect-dense and filling without being mushy, crispy on the outside without being dry. We also tried the grilled kale and romaine salad with black lentils and the fried pickles. The food is absolutely spectacular, and the prices and the atmosphere are casual. I'm kind of blown away-it's an unusual combination to get food this good without that fancy, white table cloth vibe. We've definitely never been to a beer garden-type venue with a completely vegetarian menu. Most selections seem like they can be ordered vegan. I loved how satisfying this meal was with fresh, homemade foods-the grilled salad is a huge plate of greens, not too salty, very very flavorful. We ate in the backyard patio which was spacious and quiet. The service is awesome too. We were too full to try any desserts but they looked tempting.

This is seriously some of the best vegetarian food I've had. The veggie burger was amazing, the pickles, obviously, are amazing, and they serve a great selection of beer. The only downside is the size of the place, which can make it feel kind of cramped. But besides that I would recommend this to anyone, vegetarian or not.

Great vegetarian spot. Fried pickles are some of the best I've had in the city. Their smoked tofu bahn mi was incredible. My friends loved their veggie burgers here. Happy hour every week day from 4-6! Cute patio space in the back that feels like someone's backyard.

We tried the BBQ and the Philly. They were both SPICY, so just make sure you are ok with that first unless obviously you are into spicy food. It was overall great customer service, DELICIOUS food and everything pretty clean. If in the area again, definitely trying it again and they have sweet food options as well.. I saw chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon buns on the counter! I wish I could have tried them, but was way too full.

As a devoted carnivore, this is hands down the best veggie burger I have ever had - it gives many meat burgers a run for their money. They also have awesome beer list (if a bit pricey), as well as a partnership with Dogfish Head that ensures they are always stocked with Delaware's best brews. And THE PICKLES! All in all an awesome spot.

I absolutely adore the Banh Mi Sandwich here, as well as the oyster mushrooms. This is a great shack for delicious hearty food (though it is a bit on the high fat side). Do not plan on coming here if you're eating a clean diet, but do come here if you're treating yourself to tasty food and beer. Supposedly the chef for this place is the chef for M.O.B and all of it is freaking fantastic. I hope he gets the credit he deserves. I think Pickle Shack should definitely expand someday. The only thing one has to worry about when arriving during peak times is getting a seat. It's best not to come with a lot of bags or anything because space is limited. The lowest points would be on it's dining room, but they have so much growing room and they have already developed a happy customer base to help promote it. Thank you Pickle Shack.

If you didn't know it was there you would miss it but the pickle shacks is probably the best vegan option in the area in terms of price and quality. The food they make is decadent and indistinguishable from their non vegan forms. Not a lot of sitting room but ive been told they have a patio I simply haven't been to yet.

Dogfish Head Brewery bar - get the 120 Minute IPA. It's expensive but really worth it. Pickled everything here. Bartenders are friendly and service is quick, and they're basically beer geeks so that is fun. The space is really cool - feels like a more modern tavern.

My husband's relatives were visiting and, being that one needed a vegetarian menu, we decided to check out this local spot. It was a perfect choice for everyone. I loved the veggie burger.
