I recently had the chicken biryani at Joy Indian along Flatbush Ave, and it was absolutely delicious! I love Indian food and I eat it once or twice a week. This restaurant is my far one of the best I’ve had and the service is amazing too.
This place literally made my day! The food was perfection! Super flavorful with the perfect kick of spice and the stuffed naan is seriously the best bread I’ve ever had. Not only is the food great, but also the prices are so good especially for the quality and size and the workers are angels. This will be my new go to Indian spot :)
First time ever having Indian Food. It was so delicious I could not stop eating. The milk tea was also great. Enjoyed the environment and the food. Would definitely come again!
Wonderful food and a great value compared to other places I ate at in the Brooklyn area. The place was neat and staff was friendly. Also enjoyed watch people as they walked by. However, the restaurant was empty so I missed the chatter of people talking. Also, the news was on rather than the traditional music that is so common at a restaurant. Definitely will go back if in Brooklyn and I have a hankering for Indian food.

It is all about the food at this local Park Slope Indian restaurant. Simple setting and service. Their delivery and take out orders are insane based on three recent visits i.e. it is probably quicker to dine at the restaurant. Bombay Liver served with "fluffy bread" is a must. Sag Aloo, Masala Dhal, Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Shagoti, Mixed meat Biryani and Rogonjosh have all proven to be good and consistent although goat has never been available. 5* affordable food, 2* setting.

We used Joy Indian Restaurant for our catering and our guests LOVED the food. We had a Bengali wedding and they catered to my mom's specifically Bengali items. Abu, the owner, was extremely professional and accommodating to all our changes. He checked in with our venue and truly created an incredible catering experience for our guests.
