This place is so good! Such a solid neighborhood staple. As a meat eater, I was pleasantly surprised at how good all the plant-based dishes are (trying to cut back on how much meat I eat). The portions are generous too, and it's a nice change from some of the greasier Chinese food I eat. The lady who works at the front counter is super sweet - always nice chatting with her. The food always comes out hot and fast! Smoothies are great too.
Ordered using Postmates and it took around 45 minutes during peak dinner hours. I ordered the Mango Soy Protein with white rice. Definitely enough for two meals as I'm sitting here with half my plate left to go. I also got the Scallion Pancake which came with sauce.
Amazing place, great health(ier) food. I miss being able to order from here, i'm JUST barely outside of the delivery radius now, so I can't get my fix of Zen Vegetarian. Wish there were similar places down here in southern Brooklyn
Zen Vegetarian restaurant has a wide selection of vegetarian dishes for people who want healthier options.
I usually order the mango chicken, it is delicious and I recommend you try it. The restaurant is in a very convenient location.
The lunch special is very good value! The eggplant and the tangerine chicken were tasty and were excellent portions too. They were super friendly and made us feel at home.
Love love love!! This is my new favorite togo spot. Food came quick. We got General Tso chicken, spring rolls, vegetarian dumplings, beef and broccoli, and the pad Thai! Everyone loved their food. The general Tso was amazing!! I will definitely be a regular here. This is definitely a gem in Flatbush.

This is the place to get food if you’re vegetarian or vegan! The price is inexpensive, the food is divine, and the portions are big. They have so many healthy offerings yet all options are vegetarian or vegan. This is the spot, y’all!
Was that real chicken!? Order spring rolls with everything. They are super fresh! Thank me later. All of the food was delicious. Their Garlic Sauce is my favorite anywhere! Service was courteous and fast. Plus, the price is really good.
I wanted to leave off a star💫 because the look of the shop could be so dope if they weren't hiding the interior with boxes in front of the windows. But, it seems unfortunately necessary to blend with the surrounding shops. The other shops need to step up. Come on Brooklyn.
Anyway, Zen Vegetarian is well worth a few miles drive for their take out even if you're not vegetarian.
Food is phenomenal.
And there homemade natural juices too.
