Went here last week to treat my wife and I to breakfast. Waitress we had was nice and greeted us well. They made a great cup of hot chocolate for me and rea for my wife. Not busy at the time we went so there was lots of room. Classic old school looking diner with jukeboxes at every table. Food was nice size. Had to take the rest home. It may surprise you.

Haven't been in years. Food was plentiful and the atmosphere was pleasant. The drink was good but not very strong even though we asked for top shelf. My mother enjoyed herself.
This is one of my favorite Diners. If you like Diner food that taste good and reasonably priced, this is the spot. They are always friendly and the food is always just right. Great place for any time of the day.
Good service and the saltfish was excellent. My sister and I really liked having brunch there
I haven’t been back here since 1992 and it has changed a little and thankfully not for the worse. I was skeptic but the service and food was ok. It’s a old school Diner you must give a try. These types of places are a dying breed and so glad this one is still alive in the heart of Brooklyn. I also heard they serve Caribbean food during normal business hours. Now that is a first for me at a old school Diner.
I was a little apprehensive about having Caribbean food at a diner but it actually turned out to be very good. I had the Codfish with green bananas, sweet potatoes and plantains. The dish and its flavour is reminiscent of this Caribbean breakfast food. I was very surprised by how great the sorrel drink was too.
They serve a host of traditional diner food too, with the traditional big diner menu. It seems to be a popular place judging on the crowd I encountered on a midday at Sunday.
Careful, the portions are big, by my standards at least.

Good table service
American style diner with an interesting variety of food. The menu seems to have changed from the last time I was there. Prices have increased a bit, but the servings were generous and the service was very good. We tried the Veggie Burger Deluxe, Gyro Deluxe, and Fried Chicken in a Basket. Next time I am going to try the South African shrimp.
