Great pizza! Used to eat here as a child and glad it's still good as it was many years ago.

I love the pizza here. It's freshly made here, unlike other places. There's more than enough space here, so feel free to bring lots of people with you here. The workers here are kind, and you can even see one employee (how do I say it...) 'throwing' the dough into the air, when making the pizza.
Overall, this place has good employees, great pizza, and lots of space. I would recommend this place.
Too small a slice for $3.25. Good combination of cheese and sauce.
Acceptable flavor overall, but the sauce is weak. Needs more spices. Oregano, basil, sweet peppers, something....

I went there when it was Sal’s Pizzeria, when I lived in south Jersey I drove the almost 4 hours to eat pizza, when I was pregnant I asked my parents to do the drive and Sal cooked me a pie so I could finish the cooking in the oven and I did not share not one slice, this is the best pizza ever. I will be traveling in May and I have a 4 hour layover in JFK, I’m trying to figure the best way to get there and back and not miss my flight, Sal do you deliver ... lol I’m going to figure this out, I moved to FL and haven’t had good pizza for ten years now. Best pizza in town, love it.
The best pizza in town...around for about 54 years and going strong...I'm a native Brooklynite, born and raised...where else is there to go at this point...54 years now!!! Sal is the greatest, outstanding customer service and satisfaction. Go there and enjoy being in a family environment. Been going there with my family since forever. They are so friendly and so helpful. They let you sit and they bring the food to your table. Very nice. I love going there to eat mmmmm. Love the suasege roll, garlic knots, love they're different pizza toppings and enjoy watching TV while you eat. A family type atmosphere.
Amazing place, beautiful people. They will be missed. I've personally known them for years. I've been in the neighborhood as long as they have. They came in 1964, I came in 1966 and im still here.
Best in Sunset! My entire family swears by it and I am never disappointed with my pizza. Oh and they also make my favorite garlic knots in town. I have been eating Charlie's since I was a kid and crave it, when I am away.
It's not a bad place. You can almost always get a seat and the prices are great. The only minor thing is the pizza is kinda greasy. If that isn't a problem for you then this place is good for you.
