I went to Hell Phone for brunch on the Sunday of their opening week. It is usual for new restaurants to go through growing pains, especially staff, but I’m confident to say that Hell Phone is the best new restaurant in Bushwick. The 'hidden entrance,’ a red telephone booth within Ange Noir Café sets the vibe. Hell Phone has a distinct speak-easy feel, with the piano bar and the stage, hand-crafted furniture, and drinks served in ball jars. I think it is a subtle reference to Dr. Who’s Tardis, because Hell Phone restaurant is larger on the inside. The French toast was PERFECT! Two thick slices of soft artisan bread, soft inside (not soggy) with a crunchy-flaky crust, topped with wild berries and a sprinkle of powdered sugar; two scoops of vanilla ice cream on the side really set off the textures. The mushroom and potato omelet was delicious, the side of mescalin salad was lightly tossed with oil and vinegar dressing. Delicious! I can’t wait to come back in the evening for dinner service.

A great place with very attentive and nice owners! Food and drinks are good. Un super bar avec un staff à l'écoute et super sympa. La bouffe et les cocktails sont très bon.
