Wow! What an amazing find! This place has a great laid back yet up beat atmosphere. Our server Edward was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! He was attentive and excellent at his job. He never let our drinks get more than half empty, and was very informative about the menu. Whoever owns this establishment please give this man a raise. I travel all over the US and dine in hundreds to thousands of establishments each year. Edward has provided me with the most exceptional service I've had anywhere. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and it was all superb.

This place is amazing.
We planned on going to one of the local chains for Mother’s Day. While driving around Brownsville we saw a parking lot that still had open spots so we stopped.
We were greeted by every employee upon entering.
We chose to sit outside on the resaca and one of the staff noticed our young daughter eyeing the water. He came over and gave her a cup of bread to feed the catfish and ducks. If you eat with a three year old you know how big this was for us.
Food was excellent
Price was very fair.
Drinks were huge (including the mimosa they gave my wife for Mother’s Day)

Great food, great view, great people. I came several times over a weeklong stay at a nearby hotel. The portions are generous and the food is tasty. The service was always good. I also loved feeding the ducks and turtles.
Best dishes I had:
Quesadilla. Generous portion, super tasty.
Nachos. Huge portion, delicious.
Chicken fried steak. Huge portion, very good.
Fish and chips. Quite good. Perfect for feeding leftovers to the ducks/turtles/fish.

Just had the best burger ever here. I love this place and the people that work here. Joe jr. and Nora liza are such wonderful and gracious hosts.
I come here to order the panini and it’s so good. It has that charred taste and it’s fresh. The red tomato tortilla soup is a classic. The waiter was very polite as well.
Got the shrimp platter. The shrimp were Jumbo size. Also the fried ice cream was delightful. Don't go there unless you are really hungry or want to take home leftovers. VERY GOOD FOOD!
This place has a great riverside location with very friendly wait staff. The 4 Stars are because the place seems a bit forgotten and outdated. Oh and the bartender does not know how to make a Cosmo. The food was just okay also not amazing. The 1 thing that made the entire visit worth it was the dessert "Fried Cheesecake" HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Wow... Cobbleheads restaurant has one of the most delicious burger I have ever had.. Custom made to order, added blue cheese crumbles and jalapenos and it was just delicious. My wife had the wrap beef tacos and she loved them. The waitress was very attentive and cordial never being gone for too long before coming to see if we needed anything. Very impressed with their service and a big menu to boot. Will definitely stop by again on our next trip to the Rio Grande Valley.. Loved it!
Literally one of the best places I have ever been to. The food was amazing and the drinks were awesome! The outside view was so soothing. Highly recommended
