We've been here several times as this is the official "go-to" recommendation from the visitor's center. The owners must be friends with the Who-Who's in town, but who cares? We've always had good food, good service, authentic traditional Mexican decor, reasonable prices.
Wow, the fajita's were so unbelievable, affordable, and indescribable, tender. I will be back on my next visit to Brownsville. I also appreciated the English speaking waiter, as we just don't know Spanish and feel bad at every Mexican restaurant in the area because most of them seemed annoyed we don't know Spanish. Also, had the melted cheese appetizer, it was melt in your mouth delicious.
Great micheladas & great parillada! Cakes, & plenty of drinks (Aguas, mango, horchata, etc & smoothies! Thumbs up!
Came here for lunch. First visit and OH MY this is my new FAVORITE authentic Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is peaceful and awesome. I got the Fajita de Res plate lunch special and ended up needing a to go box LOL and I EAT a LOT! Omar was my server and he was very cool, professional, and accommodating and took good care of me. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!!! 💯💯💯💯
We traveled over 600 miles (round trip) for some Bigo's fajitas on Tuesday! I am glad to report that they are still as good as I remember! Service is friendly, fast and attentive! The fajitas are still amazing for being tender, succulent, and flavorful! The queso with chorizo is delicious! I am impressed with their consistency to maintaining high quality food and service. Fantastic! Highly recommended!
Brownsville is my hometown, I came to visit and my roommate insisted I stop to bring back fajitas to Natalia, TX. The food didn't disappoint. It was great! The staff was super nice. Next visit I have to stop by Bigo's.
I'd like to say that after a 10 hour drive, eating here was worth it. I can't find food as good as this place anywhere in Dallas.
So delicious!! Everything was amazing the food, drinks, & service. We were very well attended drained never went empty. The food is always great. The flavor is always so good! Have been coming here since I was a child!
This is authentic as you can get it. They have the same restaurant on Matamoros in Mexico. So you know it legit. You see all Mexican family on there. The menu is in Spanish but read able. Our server didn't speak great English. Which was fine as he still helped us pick out all our food. Everything was yummy! No wonder it legit authentic here. The server was very attentive and made our dining expensive amazing!
Best food at a ridiculously fair price. We had a party of 11 for dinner and the wait staff was superb. The food was absolutely fantastic. We live up in Austin and you'd be hard pressed to find fajitas this good, yes even at Lupe Tortilla-if that's your measuring stick-for anywhere near this price. Excellent experience, will be back.

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Brownsville!!! I'm from out of town and this is unbiased. The margarita was the BEST iv ever had period... plus it was a house margarita @ $5,99!! One of the cheapest as well. The staff was extremely polite. A+++++
Late lunch. Happy hr 3-6p on Sunday. Open area accommodates large group as tables can be gathered. Plates are well served. Had the tacos Matamoros. They throw in chips n salsa and a cup of beans a la Chara. Took half our plates home.
