My wife and I normally go to another sushi place across the street, but decided to give Sora’s a shot. We were absolutely not disappointed. Atmosphere was great, the staff was super friendly, and the food was amazing. We will definitely be returning.
Today was my first time trying Sora, I did enjoy my "Sora Special" roll, but I must say everything looked a bit over priced compared to other sushi restaurants I've visited. I told the waitress it was my first time there and I needed time to look over the menu and she kept coming to ask if I was ready every minute. I had to tell her at least 4 times that I wasn't ready to order yet. I'm not sure I will be visiting here again.
Eating here was a nice “get away” during my workday lunch.
I found my favorite sushi bar when down in Brownsville. The rice was perfect; the way excellent sushi is made. The presentation looks great and it shows their artistic style. Taste was fantastic and portion was plenty. I devoured both rolls like it melted in my mouth. Thank you and I'll be back.
The decorations are so pretty, very nice atmosphere, the waitress was very nice and knowledgeable, I didn't catch her name though :( . The food & drinks were very fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend.
Their miso soup was incredible! Highly recommended. Their sushi rice was a bit over cooked and flavor was okay. Their gyozas - just no. No. This place has potential.
Food and service was good, however most everything on the menu was fried or had cream cheese.
I enjoyed the Poke Bowl. Quite a deal at $12. It's a lot. I ordered two mango margaritas which were sweet but didn't contain a lot of tequila. In my opinion. But it's a good sushi restaurant near my gym.
We loved the atmosphere. The "flower walls" are unique and fun! The drinks were very good. The sushi and the fried rice were delicious, but the appetizers we ordered were not our favorite. We will definitely return for the sushi, rice and drinks! And our server was very good as well. :) If the appetizers had been better, my review would be 5 stars.
