I was in a journey and in a hurry to find a cake specialty bakery shop. Went to Gloria's cakes in Harlingen and my daughter birthday was 2 weeks away and they told me they weren't taking any more cake orders. Will my business is not wanted there and won't go there anymore. So I surely made the right decision by going to D'event Cake Shop. They told me right away yes and made a beautiful and great tasting cake for my 24 year old daughter day. My family asked who made it and I mentioned D'event and were amaze of how beautiful and great tasting cake it was. I will be going again for other special events that will be coming up for their beautiful cakes. The Satisfaction and how by the photo I wanted the cake to look and the flavors were to perfection. I will definitely recommend

I love the hojarascas from this place, they have exceptional service and staff. I enjoy coming in and getting the Tres Leches, choco cheese, carrot, all the chessecakes. I honestly just love it all.
Wow! Originally I didn't want a wedding cake because usually I am disappointed by how dry they are. I'm glad that I ended up getting a cake at D'event. First of all the cake looked exactly like the reference photo that we asked for and it was delicious!
I came from overseas to visit my in-laws and my parents flew over from Florida as well. Called on Tuesday to get a surprise birthday cake for my mom's 60th the following Monday and they made a beautiful cake which was delicious. It was for 25 people and there was just 5 of us but it was gone by Thursday cause we all just couldn't stop eating it.

One of our clients on South Padre Island was retiring and we wanted to give him a nice send off gift. D’event Alta Reposteria/Cake Shop worked with us to come up with the right cake for the occasion and even delivered! Cake was a big success! I highly recommend these guys for your bakery needs, for sure.
Their carrot and pistachio cakes/cupcakes are awesome 👌 but the carrot cake is definitely the best!
