When I walked into the restuarant with my family, it came to realization that we were the only family that spoke English and the clientele and staff spoke Spanish. I looked at the staff member and stated "mi Español es Malo, hablo Ingles" the staff worked well with us with a fine mix of English and simple Spanish. Not only was the restaurant family friendly and oriented but the food was amazing, with plenty of flavor and filling, and very affordable. Would definitely recommend.

The chilaquiles con carne deshebrada en salasa verde are my favorite! You really can't go wrong with anything you order. I especially love the handmade tortillas de masa 😋. I like to add a dab of butter to mine 😉.
First time here and it was ok. I will go back and try them again. The food was good but the tea was a little on the strong side. Update 8/3/22 We went back today and overall had a great experience.

I've only gone one time but i haven't been able to stop thinking about going again! My first time was great! Food was good i actually finished everything on my plate. You get free chips and soup when you sit down! 5 stars! 🌟 🏆

Went with a big group and they let us move 2 tables together. Food was very good and price was fair. The reason for 4 stars is the long wait for the food, about 30 minutes. They did tell us it was busy and we would have to wait though, so the communication was nice.
Has great food, service and staff. Had the BBQ, which is more like a tender beef stew, on one occasion and the fish and shrimp Friday special on another. Loved both. A wonderful soup starts the meal and a delicious entree. The fish and shrimp had a very light coating that I liked very much.
A regular here. Good breakfast good lunch. Just the size of what you need enough portion but will not have left over to go. But tasty very affordable and top service from owner and staff. Very advisable and also quick to serve. Not fast food by no mean but more home style cooking
Good place for Tex Mex food. We usually come for breakfast. I'm not a fan of egg in general so I only usually order barbacoa but it's good & the flour tortillas are huge. They have lemonade, coffee, water, & Mexican & regular soft drinks. The place is older but clean, the bathroom is thankfully clean at least when I've gone in the morning.
