Nice place to get something to eat. They have nice salad and fry food. I had shrimp salad. My husband had fried fish. They were both delicious. I wish that the waitress told us there was a credit card charge prior to taking our CD payment. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Trout skin was crispy and buttery delicious. The spätzle was slightly crunchy and also very delicious. I’ve had better trout flesh before; perhaps this was frozen at some point? Justin, our server, was attentive and got all the special orders right. You can’t beat this view of the mountains and the golf course, from the porch.

Nice selection of items...A bit pricey but you don't have many options on Highway 80...Great views of Mt.Mitchell and the golf course...Full bar.
