Didn’t have a wait for a party of 3. Lots of tables and booths. Portion size is decent for the meal price. Food was good. Service was good even as our server was quite busy with all their tables. All staff we came into contact with was nice.

My family used to go to Ella’s for dinner when my father was stationed at Myrtle Beach AFB back in the 70s. I always remembered it being good. Had lunch there on Sunday and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious! My brother and I had deluxe seafood platters and my mother had a small choose 3 platter with a cup of clam chowder. Service was good although they were very busy. We all enjoyed it greatly and hopefully it won’t be another 40 years before we get back. I am still convinced they serve the best hush puppies and fried oysters I have had anywhere in the world.

After a short wait,we were greeted by a wonderful waitress. We had senior combination plates with shrimp, clams and oysters. All were delicious, but the clams were particularly good. The oysters were fresh and cooked just right. The only drawback was that the she crab soup was a little bit watery, but it was still tasty. If you want good local seafood deliciously prepared, Ella’s is the place to go!
