One of the best Mexican Family Restaurants I've ever had the pleasure to visit. The food was great and the service was excellent. A free Salsa bar was provided to compliment your meal. The Salsa bar was a surprise and made with the freshest ingredients . The avocado dip was amazing. If your traveling along I-40 or coming out of the Mountains, you must stop here. Prices were excellent too and good portions. I can't wait for another road trip because I will definitely be stopping at Canelos Mexican Family Restaurant in Canton.
V6 on the menu .. Awesome..Fresh chips and Salsa bar enjoyed... Cheap and best !
I was driving through the BRP and unexpectedly stumbled upon this hidden gem family restaurant in Canton, NC. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the servers were extremely friendly and helpful despite the restaurant being extremely busy on a Sunday evening. I never expected to find such wonderful Mexican cuisine in small town North Carolina but I am very glad I did. Great bang for the buck
No Air conditioning. So hot in there, it was 90 outside and it was better when we left than inside. Otherwise one of the best meals I have had in a long time.
Love Karla! She is the best waitress! The food is good and always ready quickly. Always reasonably priced.
Some of the best Mexican food we’ve had in quite a while. The staff was friendly and if we’re ever driving back through this little town then this will definitely be where we stop!
A small Mexican restaurant, but incredible food! Every dish comes out quick and fresh. The salsa bar has several options; something for everyone, and is also fresh. If you end up with leftovers, they reheat well and are just as delicious as when your food comes to the table! The waitresses are all kind, too.
On my way to Asheville, I got of the higway and decided to take the local roads and check out the local scene in North Carolinas finest Hills and mountains or the back woods at it's known.
I came up to this very authentic Mexican restaurant lots of food to choose from.
I order enchiladas while my guest had a Tortilla bowl of avocado, meat and salad mixed in, also 3 Coronas with a typical Orchata, drink that consist of a Milkie sugary ingredients of Mayan Aztec culture very tasty and satisfying.
I finnish off my enchiladas it was very good a lil salty due to to much melty cheese, but over all the meal was very good for a North Carolina Southern Comfort backwood restaurant.
Drop by and check it out the staff were excellent and the service was very good it's one of a kind from this part of the neck of the woods it's the Southern Comfort way.
The food is great, but service was slow.
Very good food and the staff are very nice great place to eat
