Easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The service is as you would expect from The Four Seasons group but a little less 'fussy'... In a good way.
Great staff, rooms / villas are 5*, the pool and buildings are immaculate. Very child friendly and set in the beautiful and picturesque northern San Diego town of Carlsbad. Which in itself is a lovely town yet only a half hour drive from the big lights of San Diego.
I can't recommend this hotel enough for all travellers of all ages.
always comfortable and fun here the staff is amazing from doorman to maid to receptionist and all the dedicated staff in Owner services. Thank you Shell for your personal assistance this year.
Absolutely delightful farm-to-table style restaurant, perfect for an upscale family meal or date. They perfectly balance modern and heartiness, and the restaurant does not give you a gaudy or ostentatious pressure. But certainly, the food and the love and care you receive is well worth of 5-stars.
Go to Seasons because you want exceptional food, prepared with fabulous and fresh ingredients, a dash of creativity, served in an atmosphere with healthy energy. Yes, you don't want to show up in shorts, but also, no need for a tuxedo.
When you use great ingredients, you don't need garnish or numbing of the palate. The pasta as well as the potato soup literally demonstrated that hearty ingredients put together with care can do magic. The pork belly and sea bass were a bit more progressive, but stayed well within the harmony of ingredients-first philosophy. The wedge salad was out of this world. And the green apple ice-cream simply has no equal.
We had a wonderful time at Seasons and was well worth every penny. Will return!
Beautiful, small restaurant with attentive service. We enjoyed breakfast especially with Alex’s warm welcome.
Miguel made our evening when he and the server made sure we had an enjoyable dinner after all.
My family stayed here for spring break to go to Legoland and we had two meals here at the hotel’s restaurant, breakfast and dinner. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed both meals. At breakfast, the omelette was actually quite good. We also got the gluten free pancakes but since they took so long they removed them from the bill. Pictured here, the grilled avocado salad and the wagyu hamburger were both excellent. I also want to call out the service and the setting. Everyone was very attentive and professional. The setting was outside by the pool with lots of heat lamps and flowering plants.
I've always wanted to come here for a special occasion because of their farm to table seasonal menu, but never had the chance. However, for the summer I saw they had a small monarch butterfly garden to support monarch migration and special menu added, and I knew I had to go for happy hour to see the butterflies. The food was delicious, especially their burger, and prices very reasonable for happy hour. The service was wonderful and our waiter was patient and willing to give great suggestions. I also loved the special butterfly menu cocktail options and got the butterfly nectar dessert which was pretty and light. Plus sitting in the patio and seeing a couple butterflies and tons of monarch caterpillars (16 in 1 photo alone) was quite special. I'll definitely be returning!
Delicious meal, great customer service from Hostess Bailey. Grilled Avocado Salad and Petit Filet were spot on, and the atmosphere and experience were superb, highly recommend.
NY Strip was excellent. Service was amazing. I went with two difficult toddlers and they were very accommodating. No wait to be seated. Two adult meals, one child entree, one appetizer, one side of macaroni and cheese, glass of wine, and a Coke totalled 145 before gratuity.
Fantastic Experience!!! ~ Food was delightful to the eye and wonderful on the old taste buds!
We went for lunch and enjoyed the personal service! Would recommend for a brunch on a weekend!
