I’m amongst friends, right? Is it fair to say that we 🖤 (😉) our coffee? Well I know that I do, so when I walk in to @lacostacoffeeroasting and smell the roasting, grinding, and brewing of the beans while @official.raycharles is playing, only good things are about to happen! Although I wouldn’t describe their coffee selection as being extensive, no one on the review team for this Henry’s Take visit had anything but positive experiences. Go local! I love La Costa Coffee Roasting. They roast their coffee beans in house, and the ambiance is perfect here! Coffee and pastries are delicious, and the staff is always nice :)
Super cute coffee experience they always have art up on the walls and lots of outdoor seating. They have a very cool coffee roaster out and you can buy ground or whole bean for at home too
A great cup of coffee and a very helpful staff. Both hard things to find together.
Came here yesterday with my dad. I went here a lot 7 or 8 years ago, so it was nice. It smelled the exact same. I got a brownie and apple juice like I always did. Tasted the exact same. Amazing overall.
My folks love their Guatemala and Costa Rica blends - we drive from Rancho Penasquitos area to get coffee from them, and they are both very picky about their coffee (dad has even tried roasting his own). My cousin is also enamored of the wide selection they have of Monin syrups.
La Costa doesn't push it as much, but they also have a great selection of loose leaf teas! It's difficult to find decaf blends and they offer the option to buy by the ounce.
Chose this local coffee shop vs Starbucks. Located on the corner, bright, cute decor, even a roasting machine. Service staff was very friendly. Good amount of seatings, busy. Latte was reasonably good, light roasted. Tea was conveniently hung on the cup, cute! Great place to come to support the local business!

All of the above is a recipe for success imo, especially during these times.
... I haven't tried any other drinks besides their normal espresso ones such as the cappuccino and regular espresso shot.. but they are great tasting just by themselves.
They have substitute flavors and Milks so you can customize it the way you want as well.
Overall HIGHLY recommend
