Food was good. Overall staff was very accomodating and menu straight to the point. I had the lunch special, Salmon bento which comes with a miso soup. The waitress asked if I wanted tempura with with an additional $2. I was full and I got free ice-cream at the end if you do a review. With or without the free ice-cream, the assesment will be the same. The place is fairly clean. One less star only because of the restroom. It wasn’t horrible but can be cleaner. Will come by at my next opportunity.
I’ve been there a couple of times and food and service are great. I didn’t know the name of the staff. Today i met Nathan at the testing site. He was very concerned to be able to get to work on time but the system was down most of the time. Nathan was getting tested out of precious and because his mother recommended. A young man who has civil common sense and shows respect for his mother, is an individual that any company should appreciate to have on board. I am a seasoned restaurant and retail manager, and Nathan is a great asset. I will look forward to see him again when I will come to enjoy your sushi. Thank you Nathan.
I was in the mood for Raman. The place was close by. So, I went in. I got the spicy seafood Raman. I also got the yellow tail cheek appetizer. The Raman broth was good. Well balance with spices. Not over powering. There was crab, shrimp and mussels in the soup. The yellow tail cheek was excellent. Cooked perfectly. After I ate everything, I wanted more food. So I ordered the fried oysters. I ate it so quickly I didn't take a picture.
My friend and I shared 2 sushi rolls and an appetizer of chicken. We sat at the Sushi Bar. The food at Tomoyama is delicious 😋. The rolls are a generous size, flavorful and rich. One of the rolls we ordered was a lobster 🦞 roll. It did not disappoint our tastebuds. The wait staff are welcoming and helpful. We leisurely sat and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience. Thumbs up for Tomoyama Sushi. 🍣 👍

Love the happy hour here. Isn’t as good as it used to be, but still worth it at 30% off. Carlsbad roll is the best, and the Super Mexican is great too. Friendly service, nice atmosphere.
Delicious lunch! I had the crispy tuna roll and the firecracker roll! All so fresh and crunchy. My favorite sushi in the area! Big discount on prices 3:30 to 5:00 pm...happy hour!
