I really enjoy mcalister's food. They do forget items one the order pretty often at this store but the food is always good.
I liked Mcalister's, this was my first experience at one of their restaurants and it wasn't bad. The service was not the best at the time, but I suspect that was because they were training a lot of new workers on that particular night. They were still very polite and were eventually able to provide us with our food. It was pretty decent and I was able to get a pretty good club and some Mac and Cheese.
Over all food and customer service it's always excellent no doubt about that. Only bad problem which is really not the employees or restaurant fault is that they are always understaffed but it's only because there's so many people here from other states working in the oilfield so there's a shortage of employees. So if you gonna go into the restaurant best thing I recommend it's for you to put you ordered online or call up there. If not you may have to wait for a while. And also it will be faster if you go inside and not thru the drive-thru. Can't really get mad at the employees if you have to wait a while to get you good cause they are always doing their best to get everything as fast as they can. This is one of the few places around Carlsbad where you have good customer service and employees are nice to you. So I highly recommend this place to enjoy a sandwich, soup or salads. They also have some of the best teas in town and they have free refills. Every time I go I try to get something different all the time cause all of their different choices they have on their menu. My favorite vegetables are onions, cucumbers and tomatoes so I had to try it out there it was really good the put dressing and it gives it a good taste. I also recommend their tomatoe soup it's really good. If it wasn't because of the wait time I think I would eat out there pretty much every day.

By far the best service to help in doing remote business orders. I dont recall the gentleman’s name, but I was having issues with their call center and a gentleman from the deli quickly took my order to ensure it would be ready in time. Crystal also went above and beyond to help me get an itemized receipt the day after. Great experience with their customer service
