Delicious food! 😋 went here Saturday 11/20/21 around the evening it wasn't to busy. We were seated then ordered our food, I kid you not the food comes out just as quick as you are seated. My fiance & I had ordered the Barbaco tacos, we didn't know what the Buche taco was so they offered to give it to us complimentary to try but we insisted on paying for it & the Tripas taco as well. We also ordered Flautas, Torta de Asada. Everything was soo good and flavorful. They also have a salsa bar that you serve yourself BIG PLUS! 👍🏻The tacos come as a 4 count believe me, my fiance & I thought just 4? We'll be ordering more. These 4 tacos WILL FILL YOU UP. I've never had a taco with so much meat! The manager also came & checked on us if everything was okay, twice while we were enjoying our meal & invited us back as we were paying for our meal. They also have all kinds of pastries!!! 🍰 If you have not tried this GEM of a restaurant PLEASE DO! We will be returning!! 😘 🌮 🇲🇽 🦐
AMAZING food with even better service! We drove out of our way to come back 2 days in a row. The chips and green dip are SOOOO good (and complimentary) and the carnitas tacos were my fave. The owner and her family are working and checking in on everyone throughout their experience. 10/10, will be back again!!
Best Mexican food in town!! They spare no expense to deliver the best barbacoa, you have to try it. They also serve the best carne asada (not the cheap chewy meat like everyone else in town), this is the real deal!! They also have breakfast all day. If you have picky kids like us, they will whip up some pancakes for them any time.
Honestly the best Mexican restaurant in town! love this place! I ordered a few things from the menu and everything was delicious… from their basic tacos to their Shrimp Ceviche, the pan dulce and the Aguas Frescas! The service was great and the prices very affordable! I totally recommend this restaurant as a good Mexican-American!
Extremely friendly service and owner, and the chip dip is amongst the best I’ve ever had. We came twice in two days after visiting the Caverns and exploring the Carlsbad region.
What a hidden gem! We ate here last night while in town to visit the caverns. We were looking for a good, local place to eat and this place blew us away. Fresh, delicious, and the lady who helped us was super nice. They have the most delicious aguas frescas they make fresh right in the store. My boyfriend had the best Barbacoa tacos he’s ever had. Delicious pastries too. If you are in Carlsbad this place is a must stop!

Great food! Especially the Caldo de Res for the cold weather! They're sweet breads are always fresh and delicious! I highly recommend!
