This pizza is an easy five stars. I'll first say that it is expensive for the size and I'm glad I checked the pizza before I left since they had forgotten the balsamic I'd paid extra for, but it's well worth a stop.
The garlic knots had a lot of flavor and were a great side. We made our own pizza with tomato's, basil and balsamic and it was so flavorful and had the perfect crispiness to it without it being burnt. If I lived nearby I would easily make Carrboro Pizza Oven a regular stop.
I have tried every place in the area that serves a gluten free pizza and Carrboro Pizza is #1!!!! The gluten free pizza is just as good as the regular one… my friends tell me. It is outstanding and I don’t plan on going anywhere else for my pizza needs.
Thank you for the gluten free pizza option I am very grateful! The only thing I would love to see is a good quality dairy free cheese offering!
Closest thing to east village, Joe’s NY pizza that’s I’ve had in CH/Carrboro. It’s not burnt on the bottom and Spider-Man didn’t eat here but it is really good and serviceable. If you want a different vibe, try Brenz which is dope too. But you want a simple awesome slice of cheese? It’s this place.
We had The Herbie after spending all day walking around Carrboro. The pizza was delicious, and the setting inside of a small, bohemian feeling mall was perfect. The staff was friendly, and the wait was short. The real star of the show is the crust on their pizza. It is somehow crisp with a slight crunch, while being soft and satisfying at the same time.
We order carrboro pizza oven every Friday, it's delicious and they're totally on their game when it comes to having the pizza come out right when requested. Ordering online and curbside pickup is very convenient.
Seeking sanctuary from the chilly, but windy weather, first time experience. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We settled on Cannoli"s and great atmosphere. I'll be back for the pizza.
