If you are into diner-type restaurant, this is for you. Very old-timer setting, located right at the airport, family atmosphere. Nothing fancy on the menu, very basics but done well amd from scratch. Definitely try the pies, they are really good and made from scratch!
I got the 8oz. Steak dinner. The steak had a good amount of gristle init but flavor wasn't bad and they did cook it medium rare and with onions and mushrooms to my liking. Side dishes were perfectly done. Corn bread was delicious. Took a piece of chocolate pie home at it later. It was scrumptious! This place is well known for their homemade pies. We will be returning. Decent prices even if steak was with lots of gristle. Waitress was very attentive to detail.
We ate here twice during our week long stay in Carrolton. The food was very good. I enjoyed all the photos. Years ago my dad flew into this airport often with a little Cessna plane. I am sure his picture was up there somewhere!🙂
