Village Meat Market & Cafe

I have driven for Grubhub for a while, and this restaurant's business with them has picked up lately, and has always smelled delicious. SO GOOD! I got the Cobb salad for myself, and the chicken noodle soup w/caeser salad for my friend. My friend loves chicken noodle soup, and really like the one from Anvil's. He mentioned the broth could have used a tad more flavor, but he ate it in record time, and is definitely going to have it again in future orders. Had celery and carrots, and shredded chicken. Very good soup. I added bacon to both salads for $2/each, and chicken to the caesar salad for $3. Very generous with portions! I used to get salads at Culver's, because similar prices and closer distance. These definitely leave Culver's salads in the dust. Better portions, more toppings, and just put together better Cobb salad was packed with toppings. Eggs, bacon (extra), ham, blue cheese and avacado. Whole egg, thick diced bacon, deli ham (hand chopped), and what seems to be almost a half, if not a whole, avocado A very good ratio of toppings to lettuce (and it's good romaine). Chicken (paid extra) on the caeser was COLD! Which is AMAZING for a good salad! That way, your cheese doesn't melt, your lettuce doesn't wilt, and if you don't want to eat it right away, you don't have to! Finally have found a place that makes salads the good way!

If you haven’t stopped in you are missing out on some great food. Sandwiches are fantastic and there is always something you can pick up to make at home. Crawfish stuffed mushrooms were a great add to dinner this weekend. Staff was s great and friendly.

Ordered the gyro combo and the sausage sandwich. Both were quite excellent and very well prepared. I wasn't expecting much given that it was a door dash delivery, but ended up quite impressed. Will definitely be ordering again.
