One of my most favorite restaurants in the history of the world!!!!! The ship wrecks are absolutely delicious. The green peppers and onions are always fresh to the max and crisp. They always use the most freshest ingredients I've ever seen in a restaurant! Love this place!!! The staff treat you like family and are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet and the cook will come and greet his customers like he's a family member who was in the kitchen coming to the living room to check up on you, which you don't see a lot of with other places!!! It will always be my most favorite restaurant �
My boyfriend and I ate there yesterday. We are not from the CR area and picked it from Google Maps....it was an EXCELLENT choice! I had the Corned Beef Hash and he had Country Fried Steak. They were both delicious! We got the last table available...well worth the small wait for food that we had. Understandable as busy as they were! Their staff was very friendly and I even got a hug! Would recommend this place to anyone going up to the CR area! Cannot wait to go back!
I have been her a few times. Every time we eat her the servers are always so nice and quick. Their food is always amazing and cheap. It's not the fanciest looking restaurant but who cares. We drive 20 minutes out of way to eat here. Totally worth the drive. My eggs are always perfect. And there cinnamon French toast is the best I have ever had. My picky 2 yo eats them right up. If you are in a hurry don't worry they get you in and out quickly if you want. I think this is the best breakfast in town!!!

This is a decent breakfast place in Cedar Rapids. The service was really quick and the staff were really friendly. We ordered the veggie omelette with the American fries and white toast. We also ordered a hot chocolate and coffee. The portion size is really generous for a low price. The food was really tasty as well.
I had Mike's Shipwreck which is potatoes, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, and bacon. My wife had a burger and fries. I would definitely stop by when I'm going through Cedar Rapids IA. Excellent diner food and excellent service. They were busy but the waitress was quick and friendly. Kitchen staff were quick.

Try the cinnamon French toast! I ordered the Cinnamon French Toast Lumberjack: 2 perfectly poached eggs, 2 strips of crispy bacon, small sausage patty, about 3 oz. of ham, 3 round slices of French toast, potatoes $10.99. Don't judge me for wanting to try everything. My husband ordered corned beef hash (better than the canned stuff), perfect over easy eggs, potatoes, wheat toast $8.99. Potatoes were tasty, the right combo of crispy and soft. Sunny room, boring brown decor, looked fairly clean.
Very busy but they acknowledged us and got us a table as quick as one opened up. The menu exactly describes the food, it was hot and good. I appreciate it when you order 1 egg and you get 1 egg, not a whole plate full of scrambled eggs. Perfect portion of hashbrowns. I will go back!
Mikhaels is a friendly local diner where the wait staff greet the customers by name. We seated ourselves and were promptly served water. The omelet and sandwich we ordered were both of a high quality. It is not a fast food Restaurant, but the food was worth the wait.We will go back there on another trip through Cedar Rapids.
Consistently good food for fair price. Attentive servers keep my coffee topped off whether busy or slow time, a type of service that is hard to find anywhere else anymore, The only negatives may be for those seeking “healthy” options, they may be overwhelmed by tasty options and not notice healthy ones on the menu.
Really good place for some good food! Staff is friendly, efficient, and fast. Never disappointed.
