We went on a Saturday during peak brunch time. Even though there were many people, the wait wasn't very long. After we ordered, the food came out quickly. Let me say, all the food was scrumptious. I've never heard of savory griddle cakes before so I had to try it and wasn't disappointed. So much flavor in every bite! They give you generous portions for every plate too. And all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!
It was worth the hour long wait. I couldn’t decide what I wanted to eat so we ordered sausage biscuits and gravy, the free meat griddle cake, and upstate frittata with gravy. All the food was made fresh. I couldn’t eat it all, but it warms up really well. If the frittata had black olives, it would’ve felt like being in Syracuse at a Greek diner. Solid food for sure.
We were attracted to this place by the name, location and reviews. It was our first time there. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the wait staff seemed happy to have us there. We arrived a little after 8am and the place quickly filled up with people. The food was outstanding. I had pork chops and they were so juicy and flavorful. The pancakes were heavenly. My husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito with green chili sauce.
Used to live across the street. First time back since the pandemic and food is still great. Large portions. Service changed, you pay before setting down. Overall it's still busy and food never disappoints.
Huge portions and such a unique blend of flavors! I really like their choices on the menu! The venue was so nice! We got the very well sought after biscuits and gravy, and the shrimp and grits are to die for. Honestly, I have never had better grits! Yes it is a little up there on price, but the portions make it worth it, and honestly with fast food generally costing around $9, paying a few dollars extra for a more substantial and better tasting meal is worth the difference!!!
This is a wonderful restaurant. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating:) highly recommend and definitely will be back!!! Try the cinnamon rolls! Best I’ve had in years. Thank you staff…definitely make customers feel welcome 😊
