We stopped for lunch here while spending the day in ATL. The waitress was pleasant. And all our food...tortas, sopes, pupusas and empanadas...were made to order. The food came out fresh and hot. Not much going on with the decor but simple is better, and it doesn't even matter as long as the food continues to be delicious.
Excellent pupusas. Friendly and helpful staff. The tacos were very filling but all of the meat filling I tried were very over cooked.
Hands down the best pupusas in Atlanta. They rival my abuela's home made ones which hurts to say. They also have wonderful steak empenadas that are to die for as well. Can't come here enough and if you are wanting top notch Salvadorean food this is the place to go.
Absolutely delicious! We tried several different kinds of pupusas, which were all delicious , and there was a lot of curtido served. Very friendly server, and my 14 yo daughter spoke Spanish with her. We will most certainly be back.
This place doesn't have much signage, but the quality of the homemade salsas, tortillas chips, tacos, etc is simply amazing. You are treated like family. Guacomle, red salsa, and green salsa along with homemade fresh and hot tortillas chips are seemingly free with every meal. (At least with a group of 4 people). The tacos are $5.99 for three of them (at the time of this writing) and these are traditional corn tortillas doubled up. Tons of fresh meat, fresh herbs and onions on top. Definitely my new favorite Mexican restaurant in the U.S.
We came up to try pupusas ended up getting a variety of foods, all of them were amazing. I will definitely be making the 2 hour drive back up sometime for more. The place doesn't look like much, bit the food is fabulous. Always trust a Mexican restaurant with Tapatio on the table
Wow. Smells amazing walking through the door! Never had a papusa before today and I can see these could become addictive. Especially at these prices! Had taco pastor, tamale pollo, and cheese papusa which came with salsa and slaw. Charming place...not fancy but very friendly staff. I can't believe this place isnt busting out but I guess everyone wants a margarita. Byo Coronas. Lol
