Yay... finally, a place that serves real sichuan "ma-la" food in the Chantilly area. I am almost sob-typing in joy (aka "crying with happiness") because I don't have to drive to another state or city just to find that ma-la (numb + spicy) fix!
Now I have actually tried this place 3-4 times with mixed results. It seems that management and head chef seemed to have changed recently and for the better. After chatting with the restaurant manager/owner?, she was adamant that the food is now much much better than 4-5 months ago. And this is when covid19 started too so I really hope they do not close due to bad business ...... I mean..... take a look at what I ordered. It's literally mind-numbing delicious. I got the dry hot pot with pork belly, beef tripe, and fish tofu; BEST PART - the dry hot pot comes with {get this :) } bean curd skin, potatoe, woodear mushrooms, lotus root, wide bean noodle, broccoli, bean sprout, seaweed, bok choy, fried tofu, napa cabbage, carrot. Holy cow ..... that's A LOT of default incredients already. The portions are equally impressive - just take a look at my dry hot pot (see pic - it's a huge tray!). The most important question you should be asking is if I'm going back ..... the answer is yes!
For those who look for this place, it's call "Incredibowl" (see outside pic) but for some reason the english name is not listed in Google Maps --- A name edit has already been submitted to Alphabet.
