Cute coffee shop located in the Gibbes museum. We came here on a Monday around 11am when it was the last day of our trip to Charleston. We wanted a place to rest after walking around the Charleston city market and we had heard good reviews about The Daily. It’s a relaxed place where you could easily do some work as well as hang out with friends. The iced coffee was strong and there’s a station by the counter where you pay for the creamer and sugar. There’s food to go available as well which I saw people avail themselves of. We ended up spending two hours hanging out there. They even gave us some free cookies that were cut up since it was a slow day. The chocolate chip sea salt one was chewy and the salt chunks provided for a good contrast against the chocolate chunks. There were single stall bathrooms available in the back. Overall a cute place with relaxed vibes and strong coffee.
Delicious, healthy fresh food. Great coffee and specialty beverage selection. I love going to The Daily here. The whole place is absolutely gorgeous and a calm respite in the heart of downtown. Love this location! The Gibbes Museum is an architectural gem, such a treat to have amazing food in this atmosphere.
After all the rich heavy food throughout Charleston, I’m so happy we found this perfect smoothie to get me back on my A game. Spacious, welcoming coffee shop and nice staff. The smoothie was delicious. A little pricey, but worth it.
Magical find - surprisingly good food. Rivals toast, 82 queens, Eli’s, etc. Don’t miss out on this gem. Best coffee shop we visited in Charleston.
Relaxing place to sit. Counter service. Delicious teas. Some soups and sandwiches. Very pretty decor. Lovely! Good find! Open till 4:30.
Wonderful place to visit.
