Nothing like a good breakfast brunch on a Sunday, and this place is right on the main drag on James Island. Too bad they are closed now, we got in for breakfast brunch about 2 hours before they closed their doors for good. Hopefully, another Huddle will come back to our island one day!
Waitress was very kind and so was all the staff. Food was amazing and you get a very big portion for little price. The food only took like 10 minutes and majority of the tables were full so I was surprised how fast we got our food. If I didn’t live out of state this would be my regular spot.
In this time of overworked and underpaid employees, Huddle House leads the pack. The 2 ladies that work there are tired. They have attitudes and try to be nice. The food was edible, but the $2.59 side of grits was very small. The extra sausage gravy for my biscuits was $1.49 and small. There still was not enough sausage gravy to biscuit ratio. Understandable with the times at hand with supply chain issues. But to then charge a Supply Chain Fee on top of everything was a little too much for my taste. When asked, the lady said that she didn't even notice. I pray that help comes and allows these ladies some time off to rest. God Bless.
Food was delicious and the service was fast. It was very clean inside and very enjoyable to eat there. Will be back soon.
Breakfast is delicious & filling! I'm so full that I take the Pancakes or Waffles home for Dessert! The Service is ALWAYS Friendly. I like the personable Waitresses & Cooks! They make me feel appreciated as a Customer. Thx
The server was very nice. She provided a dish of water to my Mom’s service dog. She also helped to accommodate my mom’s food allergies. The food took a while to arrive and was fairly disappointing when it did arrive. My parents enjoyed it, but I had to stop elsewhere to get something else to eat afterwards.
Note: whipped cream is cool whip.
This was a great place to eat breakfast on our vacation to Folly Beach as the Tides hotel restaurant was closed for breakfasts (staffing issues). The eggs, toast, tater tots, waffles, patty melt, & coffee were great, but the one thing that should have been fabulous was not, the biscuit... seemed stale & hard. The staff was a little in the slow side, but very nice and friendly. Overall, it's really good, very much like our waffle houses that we love so we'll.
My son got double cheeseburger and fries and me & my wife had the Philly cheese sandwich with tater tots food was very fresh,hot and good. He drank a Pepsi and we both had sweet tea,waitress was very friendly and polite and the cook cooked the food all was very good. As we left she waved at us threw the window and we waved back. We definitely will come back again.
Food was great. The place was packed. There was only 1 cook working but some how that man managed to complete every tables order. I have so much respect for that man. A big thank you to all the staff that made sure we had a great meal. You were all amazing!
They always grey my order right unlike IHOP. They are polite and helpful. We normally get take out and the longest I've waited is 15-20 min. They are just as attentive to us getting takeout add they address to guest who dine in. I've been going there since I was a kid. Good family environment. They are a now none smoking establishment.
