This place is amazing, just found it while in chicago for the week and would recommend you try it if you are in town.

Great Breakfast
My family and I were looking for somewhere to eat a late breakfast but we wanted a good hot breakfast. We got exactly what we wanted here! The name is deceiving. We were a little skeptical that they only served baked goods but they serve it all......waffles, bacon, biscuits, eggs, etc.
Good quick breakfast
They have good coffee and great pastries that are good for a takeout breakfast, but they also have more full breakfasts with eggs and proteins that one can enjoy at the tables. I liked my scrambler, and I have enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches too.
We’ve been here twice this week for breakfast and it’s been excellent both times. The staff are really friendly, the service is efficient and the food is really good.
Pancakes and bacon were delicious. One of our group is gluten free and they adjusted the parfait to accommodate.
The outdoor area could probably do with a good scrub but I think that’s because there are lots of pigeons hanging about.
Stopped in to kill some time and tried the pumpkin muffins. They were top notch and the service was fast and everyone spoke English. Worth the try
I had a homemade chicken soup and my daughter had a Mom's Grilled Chicken Sandwich and a cold coffee with Vanilla and Cream. All products were good, why 3.5? place was not very clean and it was too busy to be properly cleaned. Tables were not being cleaned after people were eating and proceeding.
Would I go again? Yes, of course.

Great eye opener. On my recent visit I had the fresh berries/fruit/yogurt/granola bowl with a good cup of coffee--perfect way to start the day. And the servers are some of the friendliest people around!
Chicken Apple Sausage Panini. Had the chicken apple sausage Panini... I liked it. From out-of-town, so not sure if it is worth its $4.79 price -- yes at $4 but not really at ~$5.
First time I've been here, great breakfast sandwiches, good coffee. Plus they had some kickin blues playing on the overhead :-)
I got a large truffle hot chocolate as a dessert after lunch next door. The space and indoor seatings provide a nice atmosphere (could be warmer). Service was friendly and supportive: I came in right before closing without knowing and they are very kind to let me order, even offer me more whipped cream when they saw me like it so much, and stay a bit for my drinks. The price is not bad. The hot chocolate was average but definitely less bland than other coffee shop i’ve been to!

I was a Corner Bakery in July 9 and 10 and this was a Perfect place to go with your family and friends, perfect food, tasty sandwiches, I enjoyed the chicken pesto, amazing, delicious flavor. The place looks claasic, elegant and prices were perfect for all the things I ordered, the Chicken Pesto Sandwich was too big for me.
The pancakes and the bacon were amazing, perfectly done.
Definitely a place to visit again and again when I return to Chicago someday.
We ordered asparagus pasta and altho it was super good, we paid extra for asparagus b/c it was a specialty item. I only had 3 little pieces in mine. The sauce was quite tasty, tho. Our 14YO got turkey avocado and gave it 5 stars! You order at the counter and they bring the food to the table. Prices were reasonable. I’d come again.
Stopped by here during a layover back home. The food was delicious and the service was incredible. Met someone named William who went above and beyond. He was such a joy to talk to and gave the restaurant such a friendly atmosphere. Thank you so much for being an incredible part of my journey home.
This is a great place for a quick bite. They make breakfast and lunch. They also have some very fine baked goods like a delicious chocolate bundt cake. I really enjoyed the loaded scrambled eggs.
Delicious pesto with chicken!! I had a cafe size and it was the perfect size for me. The bread that it came with was very soft and flavorful. The food was quickly served and the staff were very warm with everyone.

Looking for breakfast we came across the Bakery, had tea and steel cut oats. Very tasty. Staff were friendly and efficient. Just what was required for a day sight seeing in the windy city, recommeded.
Best cinnamon rolls ever! All of the food we ate at the Corner Bakery was delicious and it was not overpriced. The staff was friendly. While it appears small upstairs, they do have seating downstairs. We may have eaten at Corner Bakery 3 days in a row on our trip to Chicago.
The service is very good especially the waiter! I love to have chicken carbonara in winter and uptown avocado sandwich in spring. This is the lunch place for me when I was working and studying in SAIC, so no doubt this place means a lot to me even their coffee sucks!
