Very chill atmosphere and decent music. I would recommend getting the 3 for $15 if you know you like ramen but want to try a little bit of everything to be economical. The staff is very prompt and very courteous and the ebi katsu is good. ^_^
Phenomenal food and drink assortment in an out-of-country environment. The small portions allow to try more than one dish or share. Great place for a quick lunch. Obsessed.
We've been to Friends Ramen to eat something truly Japanese in Chicago, and I have to admit that the choice was super.
We had spicy ramen (be aware, it's really spicy 👩🚒) and three rice bowls. All the food has been delicious.
We've also had green tea tiramisù as a dessert, you don't want to miss it, it's superb!
The staff was really helpful, they came quite often to fill up our glass of water and were always gentle and professional at the same time.
Definitely a place to try if you like Japanese food.
Cute place for a quick warm-up! The space was small and intimate and inviting. Food was really really tasty! Miso broth was super flavorful, sticky buns were great, and the food came out really quickly!
Great meal in a great atmosphere. The small space is a treat to dine in but I'd recommend a reservation. We had really excellent buns, the kimchi ramen, and another type of ramen. The small size ramen is definitley smaller than the large size but it was perfect for my appetite. Check this place out!
Best takoyaki I've ever tried. Their pork belly bun is amazing...melts in your mouth. The spicy miso ramen is also good, but too spicy for me...
This hole in the wall kind of restaurant is really cozy and has great ramen bowls. I got the chicken ramen and loved it fully. Perfectly spicy broth and the portion is also good for one person.
It's been abt 3 weeks since I was in Chicago and stopped by this place and I am STILL thinking abt it! The ramen was so hearty and filling while still feeling really light. And I dont like matcha, but the matcha tiramisu was perfectly sweet. I'm waiting for the next time I'm in Chicago so I can eat there again :)
loved sitting in a cozy wooden booth where i could read everyone's new year wishes, the food was portioned well and i liked the takoyaki since i want feeling something so heavy that day, will definitely come back to enjoy more dishes, felt bad that the seating is so limited
This Ramen place is fantastic, fast, and so so delicious. Love the care they give you their dishes. The whole family loved the food.
