Incredibly nice staff. Great quality classic cocktails at a good price for the west loop. Definitely a place worth stopping at.

Lucky no wait time at the front. Beautiful interior and pretty cozy. We're ordered three classic cocktails and came out perfectly, better than most places in the areas. Ordered more craft cocktails from Mrs Liv and came out even better. We have to order some more because of delicious cocktails. Definitely go back.
Love Moneygun!! Its ambiance is almost indescribable and a true blast. Feels like a swanky 90s bar in its dim lighting and rap music mix. Went on a chill weeknight and enjoyed some classic cocktails and bar bites. Their food is decent for a bar for sure. But their drinks and service are first class. If you’re looking for a fun and unique night I’d highly recommend it. And so close to Fulton market.
Great cocktails and even greater vibe. Feels like a dive bar. 70s funk playing. Craft cocktails no pretention (or stupid mustaches). I’m in heaven. I mean the cocktail menu is on the wall! What’s not to love? The true test is can they make a good classic cocktail. The answer is yes! I had an excellent rye old-fashioned.
Easy going atmosphere! We didn’t really have a server check in on us too much.
We had sat in the booth on the side, and they had to ask permission to some guys that were sitting on the other side if it was ok… that was a little weird.
It was 8 of us, so we ordered, hung out, and had a good time. It had a speakeasy kind of vibe, the dim lights, and the booths. We really only came for the drinks!

It's super rare to have everyone on point especially in night life - but the guys at the door checking ID and bags all were friendly and respectful. The bartenders truly care for the drinks they are making - and the servers were super attentive!
At two different bar areas, my vodka with pineapple juice tasted off/fermented and both bartenders handled the situation very well. We were here for the weekend from Canada and spent both Friday and Saturday night here. Can't wait to come back ☺️

Looking for an excellent cocktail and zero pretentiousness? Moneygun is your spot! I first discovered this place by accident, but have come back time and time again. Bar tenders and staff are kind and attentive. But the drinks are divine - classic cocktails, made the classic way, no gimmicks. Old fashioned, fantastic. Tom collins, light as a cloud and refreshing as a spring shower. Espresso martini, smooth as velvet. Pair this with low lights and smooth r&b classics, and you’ve got a Moneygun vibe. A must-try, any day of the week!
I stumbled upon Moneygun while visiting friends in Chicago and it was a nice hidden gem. It's hard to get a table, it's first come, first serve so people are like waiting for people to get up to sit down. We went around 8:30pm-9:00pm and waited around 30 mins before we grabbed a table. The drinks are good but the burger stole the show. It was flavored to perfection and just overall really good. The music was good, it really was overall a great experience.
Me and my girlfriends had such a good time here. David and Mimi took good care of us! Music is great here as well and security had good attitudes. Definitely will be back!
