Totally unassuming place, I saw in an article online they are ranked highly as one of the best tacos spots in Chicago. So I figured I’d go check it out. I went to the location on the south side at Damen & Blue Island. I ordered a pastor taco and ribeye torta. Both items were average. I’d have to say the salsa was not as spicy I would like either. They don’t have chips and salsa available, I found that kind of abnormal. Be sure you bring cash as they don’t accept credit cards. The ATM in the restaurant is often utilized. Overall, I would say it’s a good taco joint, but I didn’t agree with the article that said they’re one of the best in Chicago.

Excellent tacos and very friendly staff. There is an additional seating area in the back. It was very busy when we went on a Sunday evening, but we had no problems getting a seat. Let the staff know if you plan to eat in when you order at the counter. Highly recommended. Just note that this place is cash only.

Super fast service. Great hot & fresh food made to order. Omg the tacos are so big. I got al pastor and asada after not going for 10 years and the quality is top notch. Delicious! The salsa was amazing as well. Will definitely be back soon!!!
