My fiancé and I tried this place out last night, and we can’t wait to go back to try more. The service was awesome - the hostess was super polite and accommodating, and our server made some great recommendations and took the time to answer questions - the cocktails were really good (I only wish they were a little bigger!) and the food was on point. The mushroom gravy was my favorite, and definitely try the grits. They also have a really great patio that was the perfect spot last night.
My only word of caution - the cobbler (while delicious) will turn your teeth blue. So maybe think twice about ordering that dessert if you have somewhere to go after you eat. We learned that one the hard way haha.
Holy crap the flavors here are on point. I had the yukon gold sandwich and everything from the fried chicken to the bacon and most importantly the fried chicken was cooked and season masterfully. I havent had that good of sausage gravy for quite some time!
The only thing i would suggest would be to add a bit of circumference to the biscuit for ease of shovelling into my face but had no quams with getting it there with any means necessary.
In conclusion, I loved it! Great value and a chef who knows exactly what he is doing. Props to the team, i hope to see you again soon!
Unique atmosphere for Cincinnati. Superb music selection. Connor whips up the best drinks - highly recommend sitting at the bar. Friendly, smiling staff. Patio would be nice on a cooler day. Don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu.
