I have been here a handful of times. Generally, the food is tasty. I LOVE supporting local, small business. And this is one of the best ones.
Met basic expectations. My wife and I visited this busy former church and enjoyed the interior decorations and friendly staff. It was quite noisy, service was fair, and the meal had its good and bad components. We started with some small croissant rolls that were fairly tasty with butter. My grilled, slightly blackened Tilapia was really pretty good, complete with a good tartar sauce. I would request this on a bed of rice, as the wheat bread that I requested did not work well and the hoggie bun would have been no better, due to the large size of the cutlet and difficulty managing eating it.
My wife's Thai chicken salad was so-so, with a mildly spiced dressing, good chicken sliced atop it, but mediocre lettuce and fixings.
Great food and excellent outdoor patio for dining. A friend of mine kept recommending this place for over a year. I wish I had not waited so long!!! I love the food (great options which is rare in this part of town), the outdoor patio is huge, the service is great, and the management really cares about their customers. I highly recommend stopping in for a nice dinner or a drink. Great place to meet up with friends or have a nice family night out!
Well done. Consistently good food and drink. Like the layout and decor as well.
Great example of a locally owned and operated restaurant.
Regular Stop. We go here about once a week, food is consistently good and people are always friendly. We also always see friends in the bar.
Yummy pork chop. The food was delicious and delivered in a timely manner on this Wednesday evening.
Pleasant Pub Type Eatery. We have been here twice for dinner and the experience has been above par both times. The setting is very comfortable and there are a variety of menu items reasonably priced.
Great food and service. Everything was well seasoned, hot and fresh. Had their $5 margaritas and they were delicious.
We had seasonal flatbread. Burger with everything. Pan roasted chicken with artichokes, mushrooms, tomato in a white wine sauce sub rice for mashed potatoes.
Highly recommend
Great food & great experience! Awesome old schoolhouse built in the 1800s. Lots of rely cool architectural detail inside. Staff was AMAZING & food was AMAZING! When they learned it was our 1st trip they gave us free dessert and made sure our experience was great. You don't find this kind of service and caring often anymore. Highly recommend!
Beautiful, intimate space. Excellent food. Fantastic service. Loved the atmosphere upon entering. Was seated in their Semi formal area. Server was excellent. Our party of three all enjoyed our Entre’s. The roasted red pepper soup was excellent, as was the Cajun seafood linguini. Highly recommended.
Great service. Salmon was excellent. 1st time visiting & I will be back soon. Great experience on the outside deck. Highly recommended.
Clough Crossings is an intimate dining venue that deserves your attention. The venue is an old school house, so it's small. Reservations are recommended.
There are three small dining areas: the main area is for semi formal seating, there's a casual seating area with a full bar, and a small outdoor patio. The full menu is available in all three dining areas.
We ate in the main dining area, which features an ornate bookcase converted into a wine cabinet. There are booths and tables that you generally get to choose when you reserve a table. There's a wine list that features the range with cabernets, a reisling, and a wine with bubbles. There's domestic and imported beer, but we didn't ask what the bar had. Our table had a bottle of the Alamos Malbec from Argentina, one of my favorite grapes. Grapey on the nose and finish with a the dry pepper and oak notes in between.
Our party ordered the daily special, a Greek pasta. It was a great linguini with olives, onions, feta cheese, tomatoes, and tasty oil dressing.
We saw Derby Pie on the chalk board when we walked in, and it was a dense chocolate pie with nuts, seemed with the perfect proportion of ice cream, and drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce. Delish!
The rest of the menu had a couple of hefty salads, some sandwiches and burgers, and a salmon entree that I want to go back and try.
Treat yourself to a nice dinner and a quiet venue at Clough Crossing. Ask for Dave, he did a great job.
Staff was friendly and attentive. Building has lots of charm. Burger is fantastic and I will return even if it was the only thing they served.
Very cozy comfortable restaurant Food and drinks were good.
Great food, service, and atmosphere. We will be back.
Amazing experience at this hidden jem. I'm so glad we stopped in!😊 Highly Recommend!
