It certainly isn't for everyone, because it is an acquired taste. I grew up eating Skyline, so I love it. The chili is wonderful! You have to try at least once. Skyline is definitely the best out of all the chili places.
Not a Native. Chili and noodles creep me out, but cheese coneys are unbelievable. I'm not a native of the Queen City, but I'll definitely spring for Coneys.
This site specifically is nothing new. If you've been to one Skyline, you've been to them all. The atmosphere is somewhere between classic diner and fast food.
If you care about what you are wearing, rock the bib.
We both concluded that skyline is 10 times better when you eat in. Since it was so fast, I vow to take the time to sit & eat it at its best from now on, no more styrofoam imprisonment for my 3way! I give skyline a B+ for being good wholesome late-night cheap eats!
This place is wild. Never been to Cincinnati but I'm told this is a staple.

Fun place.
Skyline has a basic menu of course so you know what is being offered. Chili, spaghetti, cheese and hot dog are the ingredients. I did have a tasty and fresh bacon cheddar wrap. Too early for spaghetti and chili :). Service was excellent and our server was very nice, attentive and helpful, especially with my two year old grandson. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of space and seating. The high chair was helpful also.

Had lunch here while it was raining outside. Didn’t expect much as this was one of the Chili places first opened in Cincinnati back then - so here we were trying the Greek-style Chili.
If you dine in, you can find your seats by yourself and the staff will come with the crackers and two small bowls for you to pour the crackers and ask what drinks and food would you like to order. But it was a bit different for us since it was our first time here, so we asked for the menu because we had no idea what to order (not like the others as we believe they have known the regulars) while ordering drinks – I thought they would give us the menu first then serve the drinks while we could order the food so the buffering time won't take too long as the waiting time for the drinks can be our chance to study the menu since it shouldn't take a long time with a compact list of menu. Nonetheless, the staffs and service were super great since they are very attentive and had quick responses also they made the best time to clean up the mess both on the tables and floor which was great so the place won't look so messy as people come and go in the short amount of time.
Food-wise, I got the 3-way so it's the spaghetti, chili, and cheese while my friend got the 4-way with an additional onion. There is also the 5-way where you can get both onion and beans – you can choose either one when you order 4-way. Also, they have three sizes of small, regular, and large. It was so delicious??! The meal was the highlight of my day and the chili has a super authentic flavor as I could sense some herbs/spices.. maybe cumin included in it if I'm not mistaken. Overall, the food was great and I could say it was one of the comfort food that we might have in our lives and that is why people love it!! Super recommended when you're around in Cincinnati :-)
Local skyline joint. Good atmosphere inside with plenty of room. 4-way onion is always perfect.
Had never been to this location. Really friendly staff. Highly recommend going in and enjoying the conversation and atmosphere, however they also do have a drive thru if you don't mind a "chili car" lol 😋
Skyline is something you definitely have to try if you have never tried it. It has a completely different taste than Gold Star. I typically make it Skyline time 2 to 3 times a week. Also, if you like funnel cake, you may want to order their funnel fries.. so good, so good!
After living 6 years in Cincinnati it was time for me to dive into this local famous dish. To be honest, I loved it!! It was a rainy spring day and this was a great meal to go with the overall atmosphere! My family had great time there too! If you are visiting Cincinnati Skyline is a great place to have your first meal one of the most famous Cincinnati cousin.
Been traveling since Houston. Got to get Skyline... wasn't disappointed to say the least. Great Coney's, great service. Glad i made it to Skyline 😀

Order the funnel fries but wait till the end of your meal to get them.
No better chili or location in the cincinnati area. They stay true to the recipe. We always go here and never leave disappointed!
